Great and delicious food, but the customer service is sometimes below average. And I think this place needs a renovation. The... atmosphere is okay, but sometimes the restaurant seems not to be well kept. Nevertheless, I look forward to coming back sometimesoon, because the food is still really good. And the owners are really friendly - they are more attentive than some of theirstaff. I wish the owners good luck! UPDATE: the service and the food are still amazing. Authentic Middle Eastern bbq meat is served here, especially the beef and lamb kafta (aka kofta kebabs). Their pickled turnips... are the ideal combination of crisp and flavor, and their potatoes are crave-worthy. However, the usual fattoush salad wasreally large, so unless you're sharing, order the small. Hummus and babaganoush were delicious. In comparison to how it was, thechicken shish taouk might be more tender. If you're searching for a real middle eastern restaurant and desire a respectabledining experience with full service, a tidy setting, and the atmosphere you would anticipate from a restaurant, not a typicalshawarma stop, this is a terrific option. We stood at the front desk for over 10 mins until we called and asked someone to help us get seated. We ordered the skewer... family platter which cost about $110 but the quantity doesn?t reflect their price point. Taste was ok but once we were doneeating we waited about 40 mins till the server came to check on us mind you the restaurant was almost empty except us andanother couple god knows what the server was doing. Dessert tasted bad except the baklava which was ok, service is terribly slowand overall it doesn?t justify the high price point. Read more

We tried the Moslem place in Ottawa and ordered a lot of food. From appetisers to a plate to share! Impressed how good the... appetisers where, however the meat was a bit too cooked. We asked for medium well, but it was over cooked????. However fantasticplace to go in family, they even have a prayer room! Merci! Read more
