Great restaurant!! My wife got the pho and my daughter and I had bbq beef and pork with rice. We had to wait at least 30 minutes... for the bbq dishes for whatever reason. It was worth the wait!! Very large portions, rice was delicious, salad was great and themeat was amazing, perfectly cooked and tender. The pho was so good and the broth was out of this world. I brought the extrabroth home for the next day and what a smart move. It was very gelatinous before I reheated it. I would have gave it 5 starshowever the men’s washroom was a little dated. Read more
This place has always been consistent for their vermicelli bowls. The meat has that delicious bbq/charcoal flavour. My favourite... is pork and shrimp but any combo would be good. It’s fresh and delicious and has a nice sauce as well. I like my vermicellibowl with hoisin and siracha so I always order a couple sides of these sauces to go along with it. I’m also a fan of theirVietnamese spring rolls. Great flavour and they are really big. Almost always order takeout and it travels really well! Read more
Ordered for takeout. Pickup time corresponded to what they mentioned on the phone. Ordered the vermicelli with beef, chicken... and spring roll. Very delicious. The beef was well seasoned and the spring roll was delicious and country. The fish sauce wastasty too! Also ordered the rice with beef, chicken and shrimp. This dish is amazing!!!! The texture and taste of the rice isexcellent, and it goes very well with the fish sauce and meat. The beef is extremely tasty. My husband loves this dish. Willorder again! Read more
Comparing it to other Pho places in Ottawa it satisfy the noodle craving but the Pho craving i would prefer other options. In... fairness the serving is big for the Pho, just missing some of the major ingredients like mint leaves and lime. Coming from Hanoiafter eating here it really makes me miss Hanoi Pho. ??????????wish I could have taken the window seat though but it wasnt cleansaid the staff but when another customer just stepped in they gave the table without cleaning it, is it clean or not?? I dined here pleasantly. It did take some time for our food to come.. however, the food we ordered were all very nice and... fresh. The spring roll (#502) was large and delicious. According to my friend, the quality of popcorn chicken here came closeto the ones in Taiwan! The two phos were delicious. The seafood pho tasted clean and fresh. REALLY BIG PORTIONS. Not even talking about the soup, our rice wraps were thicc :0. Medium pho is the size of a large in most... other restaurants. I honestly think a large could feed 2 people with regular appetites. The restaurant is clean and cozy and thefood came quickly. Pretty decent pho place, for a city like ottawa. -When we went it was pretty busy, I had to walk to the front to give the... waitress our order slip because I didn't want to wait -Didnt serve us tea until I asked for it -Prices are a bit out of hand(understandable as inflation is 9%) -Pho is not bad, but no herb selection.
