Their lemon chicken fried rice was good and well portioned. However the Harmon style noodles I'm having right now which is... supposed to be sweet and sour strangely has no taste at all. It's like they forgot to add a couple key ingredients. Read more
The food was horrible they sent out broccoli that went to flowers I ordered a beef plate is was all peppers and onions missing... chicken out of the chop suey and lemon chicken was liquid dough. Used to get their lunch specials and combo plates which are good value. One of the better egg rolls in Ottawa, they make it in... house. Has daily specials and online ordering. Salt and pepper pork chops are good, general tsos is not spicy enough, fried riceand crispy beef is good but their seafood is mediocre for take out including the eggplant shrimp which tastes too salty. Mediocre at best. We decided to try here after our favourite local Chinese place was closed for a couple of days. Sadly we were... rather disappointed. Like other reviews have said, food was watery. Chop Suey had absolutely no flavour, and I mean none. Springrolls were just ok but the kids liked the chicken balls, but they are easy to please. General Tao was not spicy in the least andalso had very little flavour. We will be skipping this place in the future. Read more
Friendly service, for mediocre food. They were out of open ended egg rolls. We ordered combination plates and the dishes have a... lot of liquid in them. This was our second visit, and it was the same each time. Looking forward to returning to our regularChinese food takeout when it reopens soon. We won't be returning here for a third time. Read more
Used to be our favorite restaurant of this style but our last visit went great. We had a hard time getting attention from any... wait staff and they didn't provide us with the appropriate utensils it dishes for our meal. Food was still great. Read more
The delivery service is very efficient.. so for that, i give 1 star. The rest of the experience was awful. The food itself was... cooked and presented nicely.. but i am having a lot of doubts about whether the meats are what they say they are. The drumstickpieces of the "chicken" wings were oddly shaped to begin with, very oddly textured as in i have never had chicken that soft..and at the top of each drumstick piece, there was a sharp, pointy piece of bone structure-almost like a toe... My father, whohas had this experience before (and the place ended up being shut down) said it reminded him of prepared rat meat.. We allconcurred that the meat inside of the chicken balls was most probably chicken.. however the general tso's chicken was the mostbizarre texture and flavor.. although it was deep fried then sauced, it was unlike any regular meat we have ever eaten.. notsure what that was but it was definitely not chicken.. we will NEVER EVER eat here again.. we are all unsure of what we atetoday..
