Overall four stars. I don't know about all the other beverage drinkers, but when I pay for one that's a little pricey I expect... to feel something up for the first one ???? just me? We ended up ordering several appetizers, one was the meatballs withpolenta, another was a cheese plate, and the other was calamari. The meatballs were absolutely phenomenal, and the polenta withit was just as delicious. The cheese plate was a little lackluster for me. The gouda was good, but both the blue and the othercheese was not really appetizing, which is likely just a personal preference for less stinky cheeses. The honey and otherpreserve on the plate were good but I think they flat cracker took a little bit away from those flavors. We had also asked forprosciutto but did not receive it. For appetizer's, my fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was good. I wouldn't say phenomenal. Thechicken was a little dry and the sauce needed salt. I'm not typically a heavy salter, so I was surprised to have to salt it. Iwould go back to try different items, but our visit to the restaurant next door the night before was a little more appealing. The food and service here are great. We ordered lamb lollipop (a tad bit on the salty side, but very tender), the mussels and... the sauce are on point. Scallops are sweet, the steaks are tender and flavorful. Bread pudding and icecream sealed the deal. Read more
Nice Italian place. We ordered a pizza and fresh fettuccini. The pasta was delicious (unique sweet pepper flavor) and the pizza... was basic cheese pizza. I was a bit disappointed as I specifically asked if the cheese would be fresh mozzarella and it clearlywasn’t… The service was also not the best as they weren’t very attentive to us. Lastly, it annoyed me a little that theirmenu is a little misleading when you order a side of veggies it seems on the menu as if it’ll be a mix of veggies but inreality you only get one veggie. Enjoyed a fantastic birthday dinner on their outdoor covered patio. After a disappointing meal the night before, they saved the... day with an impeccable meal. Every bite was delicious and everyone loved their entrée selection. Even the dessert wassatisfying. The waiter was very attentive and the pacing of the meal was perfect as well. Valet parking makes it easy to get in and out without having to search for nearby parking. The wait staff was friendly and... attentive. I would think twice before ordering cocktails as the use very small martini glasses and at $13 a drink you can gettaken really fast. Our table was very pleased with their choices. One couple ordered the pizza and thought it was quite tasty.The cioppino was also very good. The pappardelle with short rib ragout was tender and delish. The brussel sprouts and salmoncakes are worthy of their acclaim. Try the banana pudding with ice cream or the ice cream with espresso, both were outstanding. Read more
This is one of the most incredible restaurants I’ve ever been to, the service was exceptional, the wait time was low, there... was a good selection of food, and the overall ambient was calm and collected. One of the most notable experiences of the eveningthough, was the espresso. At a younger age, my grandmother would make similar coffee and it had stuck with me. So Instantlyafter I caught the scent of the beverage, and taste i recollected the memories. This was one of the only times I had to visiblymaintain my composer and not marvel at how much I enjoyed it. The waiter later noted this after I had complimented their workand gave me a cup to go. This is all an extended way of expressing my gratitude for the work put into making this experience anenjoyable and memorable one.
