Let me begin by pointing out that most of the food and service were great. The crab cake fries were absolutely amazing and I... would return just for those. If you are going for anything other than oysters, I definitely recommend going here. My reason forknocking a star is due to the oysters. They were served at room temperature, almost like they were not sitting on ice and thetaste was a little off on a couple of them. This was my dad's favorite place to go growing up, and now, after the renovations, has become one of mine! The drinks are good,... the new decor and putting hole out front is fun, and the food is amazing. I do not eat seafood and am dairy-free which makesfinding food hard to eat, but the Kona bowl with chicken is healthy and delicious. Whenever people come to visit, this is whereI take them. Stopped in for a few cocktails after leaving the beach and was greeted with wonderful service from the friendly staff! I’ve... been a long time patron of Sliders, it was the first place I ever had oysters as a kid. After all of these years, it still staysmy favorite. It’s been a bit since I’ve been able to make it back, but I am so happy to sit at the bar with Julie after afew months! She is alway so warm and has the best recommendations. The management staff is also on their game, Lechelle made usfeel more than welcome and made sure we were taken care of. Great atmosphere. Food was good. Prices were what you'd expect from a beach side seafood spot. I had the shrimp & grits, which... was solid. Portion size was perfect. My wife had the fish tacos, which she enjoyed. The wait time was long, even for 2, butthat was kinda expected for the location and time (Saturday lunch). They have a text system that tells you your place on thewaitlist. It's super convenient and allows you to walk around the area shops or down to the beach while you wait for your table.Look forward to coming back and trying more items. Read more
I’ve been eating here since I was a teen. The oysters are consistently good. I just wish they would check the crackers on the... table. They were so stale and all broken. I like my oysters with crackers so it was hard to eat. Our server was really busy so Icouldn’t flag her down to ask for fresh ones. My husband ordered the fish and chips and liked it. I ordered the grilled shrimptacos. They were pretty good, nothing fancy and a bit overpriced for regular tacos but still good. I also ordered a side ofcheese grits and it was one of the best cheese grits I’ve had in a while!! I always like the atmosphere and definitely keepcoming back for the oysters. Read more
