There is a lot of tourist traps that falter on quality and just care about quantity! (they will remain nameless) in this area... and they claim to be the best not so fast! Absolutely amazing they take their time. Their food is fresh and it's absolutely outof this world. Finally a place in Neptune City where you can get good food at a reasonable cost and they spare no expense. Thestaff including their own delivery staff is unbelievable friendly willing to serve no matter what time of day. Really enjoyed our dinner here tonight! The owner Giuseppe and the other staff are so friendly. I had the eggplant ricotta... slice and the meatball Stromboli. I loved the flavor of the crust and the Stromboli was delicious! We are picky pizza snobs fromNJ so we know good pizza- and I have to say that Santino’s is one of our top go-to restaurants to satisfy this craving! We've ordered from this place for years, and lately the food is completely hit or miss. The pizza is always good, but things... like the chicken tenders and fries, subs etc - feels like every day there is a different chef or they're getting it from adifferent supplier! Sometimes it's great other times awful! Zero consistency aside from the pizza. Not to mention that the lastfood we got, was in a STYROFOAM container (BANNED SINCE MAY 4th 2022 IN NJ, ordered 11/17/2022) and the styrofoam was completelymelted into the food! They couldn't even be bothered to throw a piece of aluminum foil under the food. Way to show how much youcare about your customers - especially ones who supported your business through the pandemic and have spent probably thousandsat your business. Can no longer recommend unless you're ONLY GETTING PIZZA. At least that doesn't come in a styrofoamcontainer! Read more
