Dinner w friends on back patio. Pleasant service and ample portions. Asked for a sauce change on a standard menu item but chef... refused. My shrimp & scallops in marinara had ample seafood but unfortunately the sauce was bland. Others were pleased withtheir dishes. Read more

A very beautiful small local restaurant. We were there just expecting a normal lunch and we were in a hurry. But it turned out... to be the best day. The food was so good. I was trying to order Mozzarella sticks but the cook suggested zucchini flowers. Iwanted to try something new but had a doubt. When the food arrived we finished it in 5 mins. My kid also loved it. Glad I didn?tsay No ????. We had spaghetti, cheese pizza, ravioli, chicken tenders. Everything was so amazing and my elderly Mom who alwayshesitates to eat outside told me , the food didn?t gave her any indigestion and she just loved everything . The cook and theowner are so welcoming and a calm place to dine in. Just loved it ???? Read more

I have thought long and hard about writing this review. My hope would be that maybe the owner might take a few suggestions When... one sits down to eat and a bread basket arrives one expects yummy bread Warm but the worst bread I have ever had ( tasted likecake ) and I love bread. Caesar dressing doesn?t make a Caesar salad. Should have romaine lettuce, no cucumbers and no anemictasteless tomatoes. If you want to serve bread and tomatoes why not go the the local farm market Vacchiano and get a goodbaguette and NJ tomatoes. The food here is below average in spite of previous reviews. I am a cook and I know GOOD food when Ieat it. Only wish Neshanic Station had a decent place to eat. Read more

Thanks for all the gluten free options! Can I suggest, dare I say it, dairy free cheese for those of us that are allergic? My... husband also enjoys their regular style pizza very much. Read more

Amazing pizza ???? dough, crispy and golden outside, chewy inside maybe the best I've ever had! ???? Seafood salad was fresh,... bright, and very generous serving size. Gelato is made by hand in house and flavors rotate, I had the chery ????, it was sosmooth and rich! Very authentic experience, they have a garden out back so you know the ingredients are fresh and it's soItalian they even have a bocci ball court. Read more

La Strada Cafe is a small Italian restaurant in the heart of Neshanic Station. It has a cozy interior that feels like you're at... home sharing a family dinner. La Strada also has outdoor seating as an option. The decorations and pictures that adorn the wallsand shelves add some character to this endearing restaurant. I'm updating my review after stopping in again and really enjoyingmy experience. I went with a plain slice and a tomato basil slice. The plain was great. It was your stereotypical thin, crispybase with greasy delicious cheese. The real winner was the tomato basil slice. The sauce on this slice was tremendous. It had agreat, rich, fresh tomato flavor that combined with the fresh basil to create a wonderful pizza experience. I've definitelychanged my opinion of this spot and will hopefully be back soon!
