Great food great people. A lot a bit on the lefty side of the world but still had tons of fun.

It's a historic building. It was built around 1862. And it's in the heart of the old district in Nevada City. So the location is... great, even beautiful. The food is better than decent. I would say it's not special, but whoever prepares it cares about whatthey're doing and the ingredients are decent. It has a fun atmosphere, and live music. Has an interesting mix of people thatlook quite affluent and people that do not. I'm not sure I would say go to this area for this establishment, I would say go tothe area and enjoy many of the establishments including this one. Read more

Food was good and trivia night was fun. Our team (me, my girlfriend, and father) missed winning by 1 point, but still got a $30... credit toward our tab. Took off a star because we were charged for two extra beers. Would have said something, but I didn'tnotice until we were home. Read more
Coming from San Francisco, I'm used to being slightly limited to bass/electronic venues, so Crazy Horse Saloon instantly became... my go-to spot in Nevada City; walk in most nights and you'll see familiar faces and genres spanning from bluegrass tojamtronica. This is the only place with food open late and it's AMAZING! The staff is pretty much all long term, friendly locals and the... food and drinks are consistent and cost-effective. It can get pretty packed inside but don't be afraid to get your food to-go. Read more
