Been here 5 times for my 2 faves-Filet and calimari! 3 times the filet was cooked a perfect MR, two times overcooked to a MW.... When cooked properly (great) when overcooked (terrible) especially when the fillet cost close to $50.. Calimari fried good fourtimes then way overcooked last time, like hard rubber bands-terrible! I’ll be back because when it’s good it’s real good, although next time anything I order is overdone it’s getting returned immediately! Read more

We had a rehearsal dinner at Friar Tuck's and the food, service and atmosphere were far beyond what we had hoped for. Ken made... certain that we had everything we needed during the event, and when we were looking for a venue, he was enthusiastic andappreciative for our business. It showed in all of the details of the evening. The wait staff are incredible and the food isdelicious. It was truly an experience that we will all remember as nothing short of excellent! I had never been here and wouldhighly recommend for all occasions. Bravo Friar Tuck's! Read more

if you were able to catch her, then you know the waitress was nice and accommodated for allergies . The food was overpriced for... the quality. Duck was over cooked, the wine was about on its last leg before being corked. Overall for 2 people it was +$90which isn’t expected at this place. Read more

Service was excellent. We ordered course-wise hoping to try a variety of different items. The cheese fondue and French onion... soup were good! Unfortunately the main courses (prime rib and lobster tail) weren’t up to our expectations - they both cameout tepid and there was a piece of plastic on the steak plate. The best part of the meal was the chocolate fondue for dessertand drinks. The price we paid $240 wasn’t worth it for the food experience we got. Read more

For the past 22 years my husband and I have been celebrating our anniversary here! They have an incredible menu and wonderful... chefs! However, I have to say we're enamored with the fondue! 95% of the time we get the "Bubble and Squeak" with a hot oilfondue and a cheese fondue plus a lovely champagne cocktail! The service there is great and all of our servers over the yearshave been exceptional! From where we sit in the dinning room you can hear the live entertainment from their bar. Read more

Came to Nevada city for my birthday. We ended up here on a super busy night with the holiday events the town hosted. So we got... lucky because it was exactly what I was craving. We came in to see they had live music. It was packed but the wait was not long, only ten minutes. It was closer to 8 so most people were heading out. We got steak and it was delicious with the veggies. Wedidn't get to try dessert (I would have tried the fondue also. The waiter Johnny was so much fun. He was funny, attentive, andkind. 5/5 Read more
