The food was delicious, the staff was very accommodating, and the owner came out and greeted each table. Going back for sure!
I'm from a big city, and am not one for small, family-run restaurants, especially in tiny towns.. Yet, every time I try one,... they have better food than my main-stays back home! Leona's was one that really "Wowed" me! It was quite difficult ordering,because everything on the menu sounded awesome! We went with a simple, 2 topping pizza, as we had heard they had some "decent"pizza there.. It took about 15 mins to arrive, which is a good time frame, given the time to cook. All I have to say ismozzarella mozzarella mozzarella!! The sausage and whatever else we had as a topping were nothing(they were fabulous, but, thatCHEESE!!) It was the kinda cheese that you have to stretch to the ceiling to separate the pieces.. I'm drooling over thesememories! In closing, we ordered a "large", the second largest on the menu, and it could have fed 3-4 HUNGRY adults! I WILL bestopping back by Leona's on my next trip to Nevis! I wish this place was in my back yard. I would eat here all the time if it was. Thin crust "Jersy style" pizza was to die for.... Wait time was reasonable, service(owner) was outstanding. We enjoyed learning the history of the restaurant, as well as thebackground of the name Leona's, from her. We will be visiting Nevis again next summer, so we will definitely be back to Leona'sfor their wonderful pizza. Read more
