I've been only a handful of times so far, but I feel very confident in my review ????. The food is fantastic and clearly made... with care. The owner, Mike, I believe, and his family are very nice! The restaurant itself looks clean and seems to bemaintained well, with inside and outside seating. Aladdin's is now easily one my top favorite restaurants in New Albany. We traveled an hour and a half. It was worth it. Creamy humus,good pitas,the best shawarma the spice and pickle and sauce, the... salad had good herbs and the best baklava. A little pricey but I will be back. Read more

I was expecting a whole vibe, I was disappointed. 4 of us for lunch 70$ that was for 2 beef and lamb gyro ( which were... surprisingly bland and flavorless, ) an order of French fries, a child's chicken nuggets , a chicken curry, ( that was actuallyvery good!). And 4 drinks. Honestly imo, gyros at Arby's are better , and less expensive. I definitely had expectation let down.There is no wait staff, you order at counter and they call your name, food is served in styrofoam containers in a bag to go. Quaint little spot in downtown New Albany near the river. Nice parking lot. The spot is in the cluster of Underground Shops.... Ordered the grilled Lamb Chops, came with rice and mixed grilled veggies. Added a small side of tzaziki and sweet iced tea.Everything is served in to go vessels, you can dine-in or sit on the patio courtyard. No alcohol, coke products. Very clean andnice atmosphere, I was treated to watching X Men (closed captioned) while dining. Tasty food, freshly prepared, seasoned quitenicely. Ask for sumac and zatar, they'll spice.it up for you. Friendly service. Order at counter, have a seat, they'll call youto get your order when done. Efficient. Extensive menu. Lots to try. Rated 4 stars due to the wait time (30+ minutes). The staff were helpful and friendly. You order at the counter for both dine in... and pick up. They call your name when ready. The food was very tasty. I got the Greek salad and the hummus with lamb and warmpita bread. I will add this to my rotation. Read more

This was my first Mediterranean meal and it was delicious! We split the falafel, a fried cheese appetizer, a gyro and the... baklava. Everything was perfectly delicious! The gyro sauce! The fried cheese!!! Mmm....they charge too much for drinks (norefills) but the food was reasonably priced. Read more
