One of the best lunch spots I've found in the city. Food is excellent. The menu is small, but well thought-out (which is how... menus should be imo). There are also daily specials, so you can always try something new. Just be sure to save room fordessert. The space is cozy, but full of retro, sci-fi memorabilia. You may be sitting really close to your neighbor, but it'sjust a good excuse to strike up a conversation: the patrons and staff have always been very friendly. If you have a big party, you may have to wait for some seats to open if you want to sit together. Read more

Was one of the few places open on a Monday. I had the Ripley sandwich. It was really different and unique tasting. It felt like... I walked into the 80's inside. There's so much cool memorabilia to see and the gal working was friendly too. Read more

Great kitschy diner from times past with a nod to the future with tons of memorabilia from the great science & alien-based... movies we all grew up loving! Highly recommend the food--all of it! Staff is friendly & fun too:D Read more

This is a tiny little lunch counter in the heart of downtown New Albany, serving up a menu of creative soups and sandwiches with... a fusion twist. Hearty portions, friendly and efficient service, plus a generally welcoming atmosphere make this a truly "don'tmiss" experience! Read more

My art group met here for a lunch this week and what a fun place! The atmosphere is so funky and cool with all sorts of 80?s... vintage tv items. If you are a Trekkie(sp?) you have to go there. Now for the food! It is gourmet food on a beer budget !! Greatand unusual flavors plus reasonable. I had a grilled cheese on raisin bread with cheese and apple butter.. delicious. We all hadsome soups.. mine had ginger, coconut and ramen noodles and more.. never tasted any soup like this.. so very good. It is a verysmall diner so hope you get a seat in there. Plus they are closed on Wednesdays. One of my most enjoyable places to eat inSouthern Indiana. Read more
