This place was filthy. The lights were turned down low to the point we could barely see each other across the table. Then after... going into the bathroom we realized they were turned down to hide whatever filth was there in the dining area/bar. It smelledlike a moldy dish rag & our waitress was less than friendly when we didn't want to start a tab. The only good thing I can say isthat the beer was cold but we left after our one drink. Attended the Old Forester Legendary Bourbon Series event last week hosted at The Root by The Earl. What an amazing job The Earl... team did organizing this tasting! Having Jackie Zykan leading us through the tasting of these amazing bourbons was the best! Mara is a rockstar. Such a neat spot to have some drinks! Any bartender I?ve had have always been the best, so friendly and honestly willing to make... up any concoction. Being a bartender I know how annoying it can be and hats off to these bartenders their great! Definitelycheck out the Bill Murray shrine also. Read more
I couldn?t find this coffee shop online but saw they?re operating out of The Earl. Please note: this review is for Cultivator... Coffee not The Earl. That being said, wow! We loved Cultivator Coffee. The atmosphere was fun! Some places have a vibe thatfeels excluding. But I think CC felt like a place you could stay a while or just grab and go. More than anything...they had areasonably diverse menu for their setup. We got the Miel Especiada and The Comfortor. They were sweet but not overwhelming likea Starbucks drink might be. Good balance. Anyway, go check it out, you won?t be disappointed by their hospitality and of coursetheir drinks. Read more

Cozy place with a nice atmosphere to grab a drink. I'd bet it gets pretty cramped during busy evenings. Drink prices and variety... were average. The draft list board was outdated so we had to regularly consult with our bartender to determine what was actuallyavailable. Read more
Stopped in with a co-worker of mine for a quick beer after being across the street. Was well over an hour before closing and the... bartender clearly had people she knew come in to see her. It was like we weren?t even there. Didn?t come to check in on us morethan once during our time at our seats. Disappointing because I like the atmosphere. Read more
