After the let down of Sleep Rooster on state street this place was like heaven. Fast service, friendly staff, and great food. As... soon as we walked in we were already sat down and having our order taken. The waitress was extremely pleasant and friendly. Thefood was worth the price as they had to bring out a big plate just for my omelette. Overall I would recommend this place toanyone looking for a good breakfast or brunch place in New Albany. Toast is always a lovely place for brunch and the weekly specials are so delicious! The service and food are both great.
Stopped in for breakfast around 9AM on Saturday, 10/15. Plenty of seating available, so we were at a table in less than 3... minutes. Coffee is excellent, and they offer a nice array of breakfast cocktails as well (there were about 8 different varietiesof Bloody Mary). We started by sharing a house made cinnamon roll, which was outstanding! For breakfast my wife had scrambledeggs with wheat toast and bacon, she said everything was tasty. I had sunny side up with bacon and sourdough toast. My onlycomplaints are these : the only offering for breakfast potatoes was hash brown casserole, which was excellent, and toast doesnot come buttered. Our waitress, Diona, did an excellent job! Very friendly service, food was amazing! I got the toast and eggs with hashbrown casserole .. I don?t think you can go to toast... without getting the hashbrown casserole! The latte was delicious as well, I believe it was toffee nut? So happy to have themback!! Read more

We had such a positive experience here! This was a favorite spot of mine and my wife for breakfast several years ago. We were... sad when we last visited they were temporarily closed. We went to the Louisville location then, but it wasn't the same. It wasjust like old times! Their menu has changed a bit, but the food and coffee were still really good. That new biscuits and gravyitem is a winner. Service was also very good. Our server was just wonderful and accommodating of our little one. I'm so glad tosee the place open again, and it was a great visit. This is still THE spot for breakfast in downtown New Albany! Can't wait forfuture visits. Highly recommend. Read more
