We went there Friday Night and the service was not great. The food was ok. I myself got the Mango-Pineapple Sirloin. It was... small like a few bites and I'm sitting there watching everyone else eat. Place was not busy took awhile to get our drinks, Gota side salad which was missing somethings on it very small amount of croutons on it. And I got cornbread. The service thelady gave us was bad we asked for queso and she never brought it out and we had to ask her when we seen it. If felt likeshe only wanted to come out if she had to. Didn't get refills until the end. Even though we felt that tip was not earned westill gave her $3.00 We left and while we was getting everyone in the car I knew I forgot something so I went back in to goand grab it. I stated that I forgot something and started to search for it and she rudely said I just started cleaning thetable and I didn't take it. And I'm thinking "I didn't say you did". First of all we walked in and one there to seat us. We waited 10 minutes and had to find someone. We were seated and gave the... server our drink order and ordered some Queso. We were waiting for those items to arrive to our table. We then noticed thepeople that were seated after us had already been given their drinks and chips. The server then looked at us said are you readyto order? We said we hadn't received our chips and drinks yet. The server said I am sorry I forgot. She then brought the Quesoand Chips but we were then told they were out of Diet Coke. We felt that the server should have known that when she took ourdrink order. Tumbleweed has certainly went downhill. This is my second restaurant with the same issues. Cold food and not much for what you... pay for. The waitress was cordial but not friendly. I gave a 20% tip and hoped it improved her mood. We will never go back to aTumbleweed again, too many bad restaurants and their food isn't up to quality anymore. Read more

Dined in at the New Albany location for the first time tonight. I can easily say I prefer it over the Jeffersonville location,... though that one isn't bad. This one is definitely more open and spacious. While places and people are getting more relaxed ingeneral to covid protocols, it's nice to see places continue to stay vigilant. They did a great job with social distancing,masking, and sanitizing. Our server was Kaitlin and she was awesome. Super sweet and attentive. We came on National MargaritaDay, which also happened to be .99 cent Margarita Monday and she made sure our drinks were full. I ordered the 6 oz sirloinwith skillet grilled vegetables and fried corn. While the steak was slightly saltier than I preferred, everything was stillamazing. My husband had the half rack of ribs, waffle fries, and fried corn. All was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very friendly - no complaints there! - but all 4 people in my party, myself included, had issues with our... food and/or drinks. 1. Margaritas ordered with salt had no salt & none of them tasted as if they had any tequilawhatsoever. 2. It took about half an hour for our food to arrive. 3. Three of the 4 meals were not prepared as ordered. Nothing "fancy" or extra was requested; it was all straight off the menu. (Everyone's food DID look & taste good, it simplywasn't correct,) 4. The icing on the cake (or should that be "the sauce on the enchilada"?) was a rather large piece of clearplastic (thought at first to be glass, but turned out to be the clip portion of an ink pen) my Brother bit into because it wasmixed in his food. The Manager was very sincerely apologetic and comped my Brother's meal. She also had his drink re-madeproperly. That was definitely appreciated! However, with the number of issues we had, I still cannot say this was a positivedining experience and I would think twice about returning. Read more
