McAllister is a nice cross between fancy and casual. My favorite is the pick two menu. It's like my good treat for the month... place. It's a bit pricey but I believe children under a certain age eat free. Try and get a view of the menu before you getthere, just to make sure there is something that your child would want. Staff who took the food order was weaned on a pickle. Sweet tea was unlike usual delicious McAlister?s tea. Tea tasted old,... lacked sweetness, and was cloudy. When staff was asked for sugar, she assured us our tea was sweet & provided replacements. Thenwe witnessed her make a fresh batch of sweet tea. :-( The staff was clearly having a ?bad day.? Read more
I don?t have anything negative to say about the cleanliness and service and taste of food. It was all good. I ordered a grilled... cheese sandwich and baked potato to eat there but I also ordered soup & a bread bowl for takeout. I clearly told them ?broccoliand cheese? Well, broccoli and cheddar I guess it?s called? so there should have been no mistake as to what kind of soup! Wedrove another hour and 45 minutes and got home late that night. So?I went to enjoy that soup the next day. Very liquidy potatosoup. ???? If it?s going to be potato soup then at least give me potatoes in it! It completely ruined my bread bowl. No way onearth I could take it back anymore and I?m still disappointed not to have been able to enjoy what I thought I was going to!! :( Read more
I have no complaints! This is a great atmosphere for a family night out or just for a meeting. The food is always good,... sometimes the service is hit or miss, but they are always polite, they may not be the most personable, hence they still get a 5star review. Respect goes along ways! Food comes out quickly, some suggestions would be definitely the rotel & chips, any of thespuds & club sandwich, which is some of favorites. Highly recommended! Read more
The service is always friendly, and the restaurant is clean (even if the restroom needs an update, or at least a touch-up). The... food is *AMAZING*. My past couple of visits, I've ordered the BLT+A. Pure perfection. It's filling and delicious, withoutfeeling heavy. The bright, airy, naturally-lit building with windows everywhere really helps with the relaxed, breezyatmosphere. We wanted to taste some of the local eats. This place has delicious food. I think there thing might be spicy mustard. I didn't... realize that I would find it on my Italian sub. (It was my fault. I didn't read the ingredients.) The size of the sub wasgreat and the potato salad was good and the size of the lemonade was 32oz in which I didn't expect and was pleasantly surprised. Read more
Food was ok. Bread was stale and nothing was that great. It does beat greasy fast food however the food here was bland. Probably... one of the better stops at this exit for something not greasy. Read more
I've eater here a couple of times now. The selection and quality of the food is great. The service is okay. Both times eating... there, someone had to let the waitress know that they had forgotten to bring something out but they were prompt in gettingwhatever it was to the table. Read more
