We waited over an hour for our food!! Nobody ever came to check on us, get a refill, explain the wait....nothing! We had to ask... why it was taking so long because my kids were hungry and tired of sitting there. Was told the "grill was backed up" when otherswere getting their food who came in long after us. Burgers were the only thing we had from the "grill" which was a griddle atbest. Kids ordered fish and shrimp and grits. Fish was the only thing any of us enjoyed. After waiting all that time, they hadthe order wrong for one of the burgers and there was a short black hair on the plate!! The ticket was way over priced when wereceived it and it did not match the online menu prices at all! Food was just meh....burger meat was flavorless, fries weresoggy, shrimp and grits was one of the worst we've had. This place was NOT gourmet except for the prices!! First time visiting, we were impressed. The service was prompt and friendly. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger which she... thought was very good, and I had the hamburger steak with garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, and Northern beans. All of it wasgood. The steak had a great grilled flavor and the mashed potatoes were excellent. The food here is very reasonably priced,especially for food of this caliber. I reccomend this establishment! Read more
Use to love their salad w/grilled salmon. But, here lately all you get is half a handful of lettuce, just enjoy to cover your to... go tray, no tomatoes no bacon bits. $20 for a lil lettuce and salmon w/tea. Had the blue plate special, Tuesday it was country fried steak with brown sauce. The brown sauce was delicious with onions in... it. Table also had side of grilled shrimp, perfection with just a little heat. The staff is very attentive, super nice andnon-intrusive. We sat near the kitchen to avoid the sun and we were not at all bothered by being so close to the busiest part ofthe restaurant. We don't drink but there is a small bar and 4 to 6 people appeared to be having a nice time. This is our secondtime to dine in at this restaurant and we just love it. Nice variety of foods!!! My chicken fried steak could have been a little thicker, and corn bread muffins were little dry, but ... the fried zucchini squash was really good!!! Cream potatoes and string beans!!!! Read more
Food was amazing! Staff was super friendly and personable! I had the Argentine Red shrimp and they were cooked perfectly. The... salad with balsamic vinaigrette was amazing. It included mixed greens, artichokes, tomatoes, and feta. It was one of the bestsalads I have ever had. For the side I chose the roasted veggies which was squash with peppers and onions. Super tasty andcooked really, really well. Everything about the meal was extremely tasty and delectable. I will definitely be visiting again onmy next time through town. Kudos to the owner's! Driving through from Arkansas to Florida and stopped here for lunch! I had the salmon with dirty rice and a ceaser salad! It... was very good! My eight year old had the grilled chicken wrap with fries! It was also very good! Loved the sauce they put in it!The chicken was not dry at all!!
