Dinner with business associates. First time at this establishment. Pulled pork, and sausage. Good was the pick two meats meal.... Pork was average. The sauces available were average. 10/19 update - still no response from management even though I messaged them as requested. What a joke. Basically if you have an... issue and you let them know with a review they will reply as if they care but actually it's just a scam. 10/15 update- sent amessage through the website as requested but haven't heard anything from anyone. I got really sick after eating the ribs andcoleslaw. My neighbor had it with me and he was fine but didn't eat the coleslaw. Called the store and they could care less. Allthey offered was a replacement side dish. Really???? I was sick for 2 hours with horrible stomach pain. I'm very disappointed. Read more
THE BEST Hot Chicken I?ve ever had. Hot, but not too crazy and a wonderful dry rub quality. Delivery was super fast, food was... still hot and fresh. Hush puppies left something to be desired, though. I?d get another side. Read more
Sides are always good and help mask the meat. Brisket over cooked and can't tell the difference between brisket and pulled pork.... Both are dry and crumble. I believe brisket is supposed to be in slices. I'm pretty sure this may have happened at the temp of200 not 250 that our meat was burnt. *************I hate doing this but have to drop this to a one star because I responded tothe managers request for me to reach out and never got a response back. I tried twice. I'm always willing to give a secondchance but this was obviously not a genuine response from management. Read more
We both ordered the beef brisket sandwich and received very different sandwiches. His was nicely sliced brisket while mine... looked more like the leftover pieces with more of the fat. Brisket was tasty but wished the sandwiches were actually the samemeat. Sides were good. Read more
I've been to City BBQ 2-3 times. They're good, but not great. At least the brisket is. The hush puppies are delicious and fresh!... The meat every time I've gone tastes like it's been sitting out for a bit and was warmed up. I even went right when theyopened. They're not BAD, but I guess I just expected a little more freshness cause it sure looks good. Read more
First time in Ohio and so first sample of a BBQ joint here. Tasty as hell! Tender, delicious brisket and perfect saucy ribs,... made all the better by topnotch sides like corn pudding, creamy coleslaw, baked beans (with brisket bits) and fantastic,flavorful hush puppies.
