The tacos me and my family had were great!!! Definitely 5 star worthy, but our service was HORRIBLE. We got there about 7 p.m.... on a ?Taco Tuesday?. We understood the crowd and the wait for a table as routine for a time and day that we visited thisparticular Local Cantina. BUT? once we were seated we were ignored for a good 20-30 minutes. Until my wife spoke up to thepassing by manager the server wasn?t seen once. She took our drink and, since we were waiting so long, our orders. Because bythen we had went over what we were getting more than once. We got our drinks about 20 minutes after that?. Our food came and itwas GREAT. We ate and were ready to pay . She brought us our check and never came back. About another 30 minutes she passed byand i asked her for my credit card. She was confused and had to go ?find? my card. Another 20 minutes later she came backexplaining someone must?ve? whatever! I?ll NEVER go to or recommend this location to anyone. Back to Local Cantina Gahanna I go. Read more
So happy Local Cantina finally came to New Albany. I love the patio and open front concept when it's warm outside. It's a great... way to still get some air and keep out of the sun. The bartender is great and always is ontop of everything. I wish the stoolswere taller for the bar area though, I am rather short and because the stools aren't very tall the bar comes up to mycollarbones when sitting., Read more
Servers were very Friendly, the atmosphere was great, food was good and reasonably priced. I wish more people in the New Albany... area knew about this hidden gem. I think a Food Truck would be cool, especially since they advertise street tacos in their menu.Everyone loves tacos! Read more
Visited this place often but now they have a addition of a 3% credit card fee on transactions and raised prices. I find the... credit card fee transactions an abhorrent business practice and for that cannot continue to support this business. Raise yourprices appropriately and move on. I shouldn't have to run four different calculations to figure out what my bill is going to bedue to general pricing, tips, tax and now another fee. Good food though. Read more
Salsa is very good. Drinks are small and overpriced. Tacos are mediocre. The fact that they add a surcharge to use a credit card... is appalling! THIS IS THE COST OF DOING BUSINESS!!! What?s next? Are you going to add a surcharge for utilities or salaries???Ridiculous! And your host staff is extraordinarily rude and disrespectful! She automatically assumed I wanted to sit at the barand didn?t even articulate that statement properly! Hire people who know the meaning of manners and practice it constantly! If you go in knowing this isn't real Mexican food you'll be fine. Think fancy Taco Bell. The food is hit or miss. I stick... with taco's. Inside the service is good and you have access to chips & salsa. I always order the queso and it's alwaysdifferent. Sometimes good/sometimes it's like glue. When doing take out, they will give you 1 chips and salsa even if youorder 4 meals. It's very odd. Read more
Best tacos ever. Condado is usually the place people here like to go but I say pass them and go to Local Cantina. The decor is... awesome: think man cave basement meets Tex-mex. I especially liked the $2 taco Tuesday special. Try the Nashville Hot Chickenand chase it with the Migas taco. Fried cookie was amazing! Read more
Puddles of Grease under every taco... you guys might need to start draining the beef. This was gross. The chicken one had the... most oil... had to pat Grease off the taco shell to be edible. Read more
