Their menu is enormous for what is plainly a wing joint. I get wings, but I've heard other entrees are good as well. Their... hottest sauce would be a high medium at most other wing places, but it's tasty. Service is decent as well. Really nocomplaints. They were out of bacon bits for a couple straight weeks. Strange that a restaurant that shares a parking lot witha grocery store would be out of something so basic for so long, but that's fairly minor. I'll return often all the same. Read more
It has been over thirty years that I have been inside a Roosters. The menu has really expanded, and there is something for... everyone here. servers are very personable and attentive. Prices are reasonable, and food comes fairly quickly even when therestaurant is busy. Well done, Roosters. Read more
I brought my family to eat dinner at Roosters because we have always loved the wings, despite the greasy floors. We ordered a... few drinks and an appetizer. Once it was dropped off we ordered our food. My wife ordered 5 wings medium garlic, Mother in lawordered the pizza and a salad and my son got the burger double tots, I ordered 10 flappers hot and a side of curly fries. 45minutes later they brought my son's burger, Mother in law's pizza and the side of curly fries - they apologized for the wait onthe wings and said they should be here in a couple of minutes. Everything is fine at this point. 15 minutes later they dropoff the wings for my wife and myself. I taste one wing and notice that they're BBQ and not hot and my wife's weren't mediumgarlic. No big deal and we tell our server. My wife is fine with hers but I asked if I can get the flappers hot. She said shewill have them recook them for me. Literally 1 and a half minutes later they're bringing me the redone wings. We were sayingthat's fast since the first order took 45-60 minutes. I count the wings cause I saw the one I ate sitting there on anotherplate. I had 9 new wings they just brought out. All they did was pour the hot wing sauce on the ones they had originally cookedand put them in a new basket. That would have been fine and I wouldn't had said anything but to my face my server said theycooked you a whole new batch of wings "I PROMISE" actual words out of her mouth. Now knowing that there were only 9 wings on mynew plate I new that wasn't true and either she was lying or the cooks lied to her and she was repeating what they told her. Either way I politely asked for the manager. (The server didn't ask about why we needed to talk to the manager) We didn't seethe manager until she walked out to the food line and started talking to a cooks. I enjoy Roosters wing a lot, especially on game days or special events. I ordered for carry out and was pleasantly surprised to... still have my order brought to the car. My order was hot and accurate, I only took a star off because online ordering wasn?tavailable which makes ordering more difficult. Read more
First time I ordered food here for carry out. My personal informations are in the Roosters system, so even I gave my phone... number, and asked so we gonna get a text when is ready...answer was yes. Well, no text, and I was wondering are they killingjust now the chicken or what is happening that finishing my order take more than half an hour! I went in to ask for the order,the girl gave us right away, and I was asking..did we get a text because we didn't see any and it's been almost 40mins...she wasmumbling about text...NO TEXT. Asked her how long was the food sit there..."oh just 15mins"...GREAT! Oh and specifically I askedfor nachos with jalapeños and cheese dip, in the end she charged double priced nachos. So I had to ask after almost 40minswaiting to get my order properly. Took them at least 20-25mins, for 3 bags of nachos?! ...and of course no refund for the extrapayed (double priced wrong order) Unfortunately, the nachos we got were half and 1/3 packed in a box with hole in the bottom(this happened not a first time). Seems the restaurants (161 and New Albany) never pack a full amount of nachos or curly frieslike before pandemic. So it was an unpleasant first and last experiment with them. So "thankful" for the extremely expensive andcold food! Oh, and advice..no matter which Roosters you plan to go for carry out, ALWAYS double check your bags!!!!! I'm typically a big Roosters fan. My husband and I both love the wings! I strayed from my normal order this evening and decided... on the chicken wrap and fried pickles. Although the pickles were tasty, I guess I was a little surprised by the serving size. Isit normal to get 7 pickles for $5.50? It always seems like more whenever we order in the restaurant. Maybe someone can let meknow if this is normal? ??????? And don't get me started on the wrap. It is supposed to come with a spicy ranch and it didn't.It turned out to be the most bland chicken wrap I've ever had. Would not recommend. Read more
Great service. This month bud light, mich ultra, and miller light $1.99. Tried lots of flavors of wings and 4 of the appetizers.... Dumpster fries were pretty good. Prices are reasonable as well. Wing portions are pretty large. Read more
