Probably the worst customer service response EVER!! My husband loved (past tense) the Rusty Bucket and I thought it was just... "okay" which seems to differ from other opinions. About two (2) weeks ago, I ordered dinner for take out. I had the salmon withstir fry vegetables and my husband had fish and chips. The Rusty Bucket in New Albany is only about a 10 minute drive. Myhusband went to pick up the food and was back home in no time. My disappointment and personal dislike of this restaurantreached an all-time high. The fish & chips were cold as an Arctic blast...the french fries could not have been prepared evenwithin the last hour. Cold, stiff, gross french fries. My meal was also cold and the salmon didn't appear to be fullycooked. My husband went back to the Rusty Bucket and spoke with a manager and explained calmly our issue with our orderespecially his fish & chips & french fries. The manager on duty then offered my husband a bag of new fries. That's it! Nooffer to make our meals again hot & fresh or to even discount the bill. We have never expected a free meal anywhere. My husbandfelt cheated. I felt cheated. We'd been fairly regular customers due to my husband's prior love of the Rusty Bucket. I wasfurious when my husband told me that after paying more than a few dollars for our meals, he was offered new french fries as anacceptable resolution. Not so fast...I called the restaurant expressing my deep frustration. Not long after, we did receive afull credit back on our meal but I had to "fight" for it. I hate confrontation. Read more

Had a lovely experience at The Rusty Bucket yesterday! The restaurant was busy (game day lunch time) but the service was... wonderful, the space was clean and inviting and the food was delicious. We could smell delicious aromas emanating from therestaurant before we even walked in. Keyon was a great server! 1) The Wild Mushroom Pizza with roasted garlic, shiitake,portabella, caramelized onion, spinach and truffle oil. It was so good - I wanted to eat the whole thing but it was big enoughthat I ended up taking some home. 2) The Bucket burger with American cheese and MR. PLOT (medium-rare, pickles, lettuce, onionand tomato). My fiancé literally cleaned his plate. Topped off with some good old Angry Orchard, I couldn't have asked for abetter lunch. Great atmosphere and awesome customer service. The teamwork between the waitstaff (in this case, the bartenders) was... phenomenal! I had the chicken parmesan with a pierogi appetizer. Both were very enjoyable. Read more

I love this place for dinner. We typically do take out and my husband and I both get salads. We can typically take a kids meal... and split it between our two kids as they are two and four. Depending on the day I don't always get everything that I orderedbut we're the most part. They are very accommodating so I can't complain too much as I am sure they are short staff likeeveryone else. Great staff, food was good. The menu gives a good giggle. They have the crunchy ice. Good selection. The menu does change and... they have stuff for vegans as well. Some of the patrons think they are more important than others. No fault of the restaurant. Definitely a great place. Well worth a try. Read more

My manager paid for lunch for us and It was barely any salad ???? in the bowl, I had to pick out brown lettuce which wasn’t... cool, my avocado was brown too!!! The portion of the salad was just small. The salad wasn’t nasty, it was actually good I justwish I didn’t have to pick stuff out my salad. ????
