We moved to the area about a year and a half ago and tried this location first. It was awful. Cold and not fresh. We Bagan going... to the Romeo plank one instead. This time it was out of convenience because it was on my way home. We are pleasantly surprised!The employee was super friendly, the food was ready pretty fast and was fresh and delicious! It seems like the quality of your food varies from each visit. For the price, I feel like it should be more consistent. I'm sure... they are understaffed and underpaid like everyone else. Why corporations treat their employees like slaves is beyond me. Read more
I?m not much of a reviewer but I couldn?t help it for a $60 meal I thought I got robbed. I?ve been going to this location since... 2010 since I moved to chesterfield, we probaly get chicken shack once every cpl months and I?ve been a super loyal customer butthe last cple times the food was horrible. I will usually order 35-45 min in advance because if they tell you 20 min and yourthere is 20 min, your waiting an additional 20 minutes. I always get he ?super? combo and the chicken was mediocre but the ribswere horrible, no flavor dried out. The shack potatoes were dried out and overcooked and the corn tasted like it was just takenout the freezer and gross. I?ve got carryout from both warren and royal oak and they have been spectacular especially the ribs.But this location hasn?t had good consistent quality food for awhile but I go there because it?s our local chicken shack but notgoing there anymore, hope they can turn the ship around because it?s sinking fast.. Ordered 3 slabs of ribs slong with chicken , cole slaw, and broasted potatoes for a 3rd of July get together. Having been... familiar with chicken shack for over 40 years, i must say the ribs were awful! Dried out- over cooked. The rest of the food waspassable, but for what you pay for the ribs, these were sub par. Chesterfield store seemed dirty and unorganized. Will neverpatronize that store ever again. Read more
I continue to go back because it?s close to home and an easy meal once in a while but the wait time has gotten worse and worse... over the last year or so. Every time we go to pick up food it?s an additional 20+ minute wait so we decided to order aheadonline and schedule a pick up time. When we arrived to pick up, they stated they never got the online order and we have doublechecked our confirmation. We also ordered online because the last few times we have tried to order, the phone rings and ringswithout an answer. I really hope they can get it figured out to lower wait times. Read more

Update: I returned because restaurant.com gave me a certificate that made eating a whole meal for 1 person $5 out the door minus... tip. The new team seems on top of making sure my food is the way I ordered it. The last time I return under current management. I recieved great service and food up until a few months ago. My potatoes had no butter on them, my rolls were not even takenout of the package that the manager put into my bag, my coleslaw was maybe 2 ounces. The potatoes and shrimp where howevercooked nicely.
