Sunday brunch at Carmine's with out-of-town visitors was absolutely delightful. Food was seriously good and the service from... the amazing staff was..... amazing. We spent over two hours enjoying the meal and talking and asked if we could stay andcontinue talking. Of course, the answer was, "Of course!" I always go to Carmines for both lunch and dinner, but today April 6th 2022, I went in for dinner and my server Jess did a... terrible job. First, they always give you some bread and olive oil when you come in, today nothing. We ordered our drinks andappetizers, the drinks were terrible made in comparison to other times we came in, then we ordered our entrees. I was sothirsty, my drink was done before my entree came and not once she asked if I wanted a refill, while other times they askedplenty of times. When our appetizer was done, the server Jess came and took the plates that the appetizers were served on, butdidn’t take the plates that we ate the appetizers on, it was just sitting there and she put our entree on the side. I had toask to have my plate removed and she didn’t remove the ones from the other people that were with me. During our entree, shenever came to ask if we needed anything else, and I could see her on the balcony talking and laughing with the other employees.When we were done eating, we were just sitting there for a good 10 minutes just with the plates in front of us, with emptyglasses. When she came to get the plates she asked if we wanted desert and as we said no, she immediately brought the checkwhile someone wanted a coffee, with our plates still in front of us. Absolutely terrible. I love carmines but I won’t spendall that money to not get an acceptable service. 100% disappointed. If I ever get that server again, I will not eat atCarmines. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Food was delicious, but our favorite was appetizers. Calamari, mussels, baked stuffed mushrooms.... I had the chicken piccata and hubby had steak tips that were amazing. Ending the dinner with creme bruleé and Tiramisu. Read more
Lunch at Carmines was the perfect introduction to this place. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the drinks are excellent... and the service was friendly and helpful. Everything we ordered was completely delicious. Zappa toscana is a hearty portion, Ihad the Burrata salad (forgot to get a photo before digging in!) and my date had the meatball sandwich - which was HUGE! Again,completely delicious, and the menu notes what dishes can be made gluten free or that are already gluten free. Hope to check themout for dinner. Read more

Dinner was amazing and the whole staff was wonderfully friendly. Hubby had the chicken Cacciatore and I had the frutti de Mar.... both were spectacular. Also our server Sean talked so highly of the desserts we had to get them. I had the lemonchello cake andhe had the crepe brulle. So happy we came here. The atmosphere was so rich with antiquity that some might come here because itdates back to the 1800s. Read more

The Sunday brunch was just ok. Wasn't blown out of the water especially for the price per person. Although it was all you can... eat, I didn't find myself going up for more. Disappointed as I heard great things about it. Will have to try lunch or dinner tosee if it's much better. Waitress wasn't attentative as we had to continue to ask for water and coffee refills. Since it was abuffet style brunch and everything was in heating trays. Willing to try again and re-review if or when that happens. Read more
