The food was wonderful. I had the scallops, my husband had calamari and we shared the tomato salad. We sat outside, with a... beautiful view of the working ships. (Inside has a view as well.) The staff were nice. I would recommend having a meal here orenjoy their bar- also has a view. Read more
Great place!! We enjoyed sitting outside on the water with dinner and drinks. Cayla our server couldn’t have been nicer and... the manager, Mia (not sure of the spelling) coming over to say hello and asking if everything was okay and chatting a bit wasimpressive. Our Women's club had a luncheon here and it was a delightful experience. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.... We had a choice of three entrees, fish, beef or chicken. I had the chicken, it was seasoned to perfection. The chicken wastender, not chewy or dry. They make a good Caesar salad. Read more
We held three events the weekend of May 13-15 at Merrill's and each one ran smoothly. The food was delicious, the servers and... bartenders friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Tyler, the events manager, for making all my requests happen. Wish welived closer to visit more often. We have been making to try out Merrill’s forever. Finally made an impulse decision to go and it was the best way to spend an... evening! The food was crazy delicious. Our server was gracious enough to ask the kitchen about food allergies and the kitchenwas able to work with us. Truly, the food alone would have us back but the attention to our needs locks us in for future visits.Highly recommend this spot! Read more
Very overpriced and very disappointing! I ordered a cheeseburger with fries…no bun, asked for lettuce instead of the... bun. The burger was undercooked, greasy, gristley, and the size of a hockey puck. The cheese on top was greasy and seethrough. The fries were frozen and greasy…exactly like the kind you can get in any mom & pop diner for a couple bucks. Theywere so greasy and rubbery that you could wring the grease out of them(see photo) Instead of a lettuce leaf, I got some choppedmixture with onions in it, and mostly wilted lettuce. … for $15.99! Decided to go and try it out for a date night and was told from others it was just okay. We had a reservation for 2 for 7pm... outdoors and our table was not available right away. Waited about 1/2 hour. The food order was a baked haddock dinner with aside of summer squashes and coconut rice. The presentation of the meal was not appetizing, but the haddock and veggies was good.The coconut rice was not at all good. Also for apps did order the quahogs and it was good with a nice spicy bite. Order a cup ofhot coffee after dinner and they were out of cream, kinda strange especially for a weekend . I must say our server was wonderfulthough : ) The view was pretty and relaxing. I held an event on Sunday at Merrill’s. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The... food was delicious and plentiful for all the guests. Special shout out to the event manager, Tyler. He was very accommodatingand supportive leading up to the event and the day of the event. He even came in the office the next day on his day off to allowme to pick up the rest of the cake that was left behind. Exceptional service! Definitely will be hosting more parties atMerrill’s.
