My friends and I go to Halftimes several times a month to watch football and enjoy their chicken wings. We love Sherree, Becky,... and Meagan; all so nice, professional and hard working ladies. We were so disappointed in our service with Tammy. Only half thetables were full yesterday during Sunday football when we arrived, we waited 15 minutes at our table before she greeted us. Thenanother 15 minutes before we got our drinks. We understand when it?s busy and the waitress is trying, but she was so rude andmean the entire time. She was talking to a table of men and spending all her time with them instead of the rest of the tableswaiting. We noticed 2 booths near us had no menu?s or drinks for at least 15 minutes, other tables close to us all commented onthe service. The other waitress was running around working hard. Even getting a beer took 20 minutes to get to us. I love goingto Halftimes but all of us agreed we have never had such bad service in our lives. Read more
Hands down best place to go to watch the game. Bar tenders are immaculate at being able to juggle the huge bar and dining room... when not an empty seat in the house. Wings are awesome. I didn't realize that it wasn't fifty cents wings anymore and walked outof there with eighty dollars of chicken but nonetheless enjoyed every bit of it. I'm new in town and popped in to what I hoped would be my new local. It takes at least 7 positive interactions to overcome a... poor first impression. I don't have the time or inclination. The bartender spent her time socializing with her friends, sharingthe mundane aspect if their lives for us all. I might as well been invisible. That's ok, but I have to be honest about my firstimpressions. In fairness, the bartender is a working .mom going to school for nursing. But for all of us who have parented andworked 3 jobs, we need to go past the perfunctory. Read more
Stopped in for a burger with a couple of friends about 6:00 PM on a Thursday evening. Place was packed and pretty darn busy. We... found a table with folks just leaving, the staff bussed and cleaned it right away. We got our menus quickly and placed ourorders. Food came quickly and was prepared just right and was very good. Love their store made crispy chips and well seasonedburger. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat and visit with friends this place isn't for you BUT if you're looking for afun place to eat excellent sports bar cuisine and like a lively atmosphere this is the place to go. Excellent local tavern with tavern burgers, friendly staff, and the best bartenders slinging your favorite drinks!! They are... very accommodating with putting on whichever game you want and there are dozens of tv's to choose from. Come as you are and stayas long as you like (during business hours of course). Great environment March Madness. Had the Four Horsemen burger. I'd definitely recommend it if you're a fan of a bit of... heat. Fiance was able order vegan/vegetarian establishment door while being seated at Halftime. Very good experience allaround. Read more
First time visiting this amazing hidden hideaway. We wanted to celebrate St. Patrick's day with some festive drinks. Today they... have green beer and a leprechaun cocktail. Not only are there amazing drink options to choose from, you must try the food!!! Theappetizer sampler is a MUST! My mom does not eat pork, so I asked for the potato skins on the side. Not only did they come outthis way, they had the plate set up with our options divided and set up perfect for sharing! Also tried the Fish and Chips andAvocado Bacon Burger (I added a fried egg) both were fantastically prepared and oh my goodness delicious! I was reminded today of why I only come in about once a year. 45 minute wait on food because the oil was changed at lunch time.... The server was barely attentive with very view people in the house. No appetizer plates or utensils were offered. Differentprices for the same item on different menus. The fish wrap was pretty meh. Unsat again! Read more
