Took my daughter for breakfast. Totally unorganized. We stood up there waiting, only to be asked if we were waiting to be... seated. Never got seated. Had 3 tables that just needed to be wiped down. The guy that came in after us was seated that's whenwe walked out. They were busy, but showed no since of urgency. The server just stood there. I'd recommend going across thestreet to IHOP Read more
Really good breakfast!
Great staff, we were the only customers when we arrived. Not sure if they'd just had a rush but there were a lot of dirty tables... and the bar area was the same. The only real complaint was that my friend didn't receive her whole order. It was late and wedidn't want to go back, so none of us called. Read more
Was the worst experience ever. Felicia our waitress was either incompetent. Was eating while on clock and even fell. Couldn't... get order right. Had to repeat multiple times. We got our own silverware and straws. My husband got his wheat toast when hewas more then halfway done eating. 1st time in New Bern. Will never come here again. If I could leave a zero, I would. I can't even believe the experience I just had at waffle house in New Bern. I walk in about 5:45am to get some breakfast before... I go to work, there are two other customers in there. One at the register being rang up and one waiting for his food. The cook,a short younger girl with blue hair, turns and sees me and then turns to the customer at the register and says "why can'teveryone just come in at one time. I'm trying to get my work done and it would be easier if people would just come all at thesame time." Never said one word to me, no greeting or anything, but stood there talking to another customer basically about howmuch of an inconvenience I was for her just because I didn't show up to her job at a time that works for her. I've never feltso disrespected in my life. As someone who's a manager in a retail business I can't imagine one of my employees ever sayingsomething like that in front of a customer. Well place not busy at all and just down right filthy inside waitress acts like she is fresh off the press and don't know what... to do. I had the cheese steak on Texas toast great flavor, but my goodness it was salty. The steak was over cooked and dry. AndI watched him take the raw meat from the cooler. During idle time workers need to be cleaning. Waffle house never practice thisall that I visit are the same. Read more
I was in their 6 days ago an I have never gotten so mad or disrespect in my life there was a heavy set white guy and a black guy... working and they kept cracking jokes and making fun because I'm a big guy an I ask for the $5 menu and they were making gayjoke's an snickering another couple was actually getting tired of it an real loudly said I been here for over 10min can I getsome service or something or you to busy making fun of people I go to this waffle House a lot an have never had a problem tothen they were so rude.
