I ordered a large root beer float. There was so little ice cream that it was completely melted by the time I got to my car right... outside the door. When I took it back in, I was told that the ice cream is on a meter. I love A&W root beer, but I won?t beback. I happen to think a root beer float should actually have ICE CREAM in it! Read more
showed up about 3pm to get a rootbeer float. 5 cars in front of me in the drive thru. 45 minutes later finally get to place my... order only to find out that according to the employee they had already turned the icecream machine off. What company turns theice cream machine off at 3pm? you are a&w. people come here for the rootbeer floats and you turn the ice cream machine off forthe day at 3pm? manager should be fired. Not very clean for a place only serving drive thru orders. Food was OK, nothing to drive out of the way to get. A&W root bear... floats were horrible- if you're going to have the A&W logo, you best bring your A game when serving the ONE thing people swingby to enjoy. I would have given this place a 2 star, but the employees have a great attitude! Read more
Got in the Drive through line at 10:55am online it says they open at 10am but a lady came on the speaker and said "we don't even... open till 11" then walked off... very rude employees not impressed with the customer service at all.. Read more
A&W along with Long John Sivers at this location. Drive thru open but inside seating not available at this time. This is a Great... burger and Root beer kinda place. If you dont know A&W root beer then you dont know what your missing. They have been around aslong as i can remember. This location has teamed up with another great Long John Silver. So if you feel like burgers or fish andchips you cant go wrong. The staff is quick and curtious. The food is wonderful. Enjoy!! Read more
Nothing against the restaurant itself, but fair warning - Google Maps has it on the southbound side of IH-35. It's a combined... A&W and Long John Silvers. The kids had burgers and fries and chicken strips. All well within expectations. I had afish/chicken combo which was serviceable, but the breading was just a touch on the salty side. They still have the A&W RootBeer that I remember as a kid, along with the frosty mug, but it sure isn't the same as the old-school drive-ins. Read more
