Delicious, moist, and succulent meat are some of the words I would use to describe this place. Btw if you have left over is... just as good and moist as when it was freshly served. Its a great place to have a great together. Read more

We were planning on going to Black's when we saw the sign for Cooper's so we decided to try it out instead. We loved the sausage... and the chicken. I had the chopped beef baked potato which was really good. Asked for extra butter and the gentleman asked if Iwanted extra cheese or bacon too because they didn't have a limit on them and I thought that was such a great touch! Onlycomplaint is that the outside of the potato had a little too much salt and pepper. I loved that it was seasoned, because I liketo eat the whole thing, but someone had a little bit of a heavy hand when it came to that. My husband said the brisket was okay, but he felt like it was missing something. He liked my chopped beef better than the brisket. He loved that the chicken was juicyand moist, especially the breast. We're big beef sausage eaters so we weren't sure if we would like theirs and we loved it. Kindof has a weiner aftertaste, but wasn't overpowering and was so good. Bought a couple of pork ribs but didn't get to try thembecause we were so full by the time we got to them. The potato salad was ok, but the beans were awesome! Loved that they werefree and you could eat as much as you wanted. The sweet tea was perfect. It wasn't too sweet and was just so tasty. The pecanpie cobbler was ok, but I wouldn't buy again. Overall it was kind of pricey, over $75 for everything in the pics (missing thepotato salad, cobbler and 2 drinks) and there was only 2 of us. We will come back, but maybe for a date night because it's justa little too pricey to come more often than that. Please open one in San Antonio!! Update: Tried the ribs they bombed Theemployee was pushing it on us too saying, "How about ribs? My last two!" My husband said ok so we could try it and we shouldn'thave done it. We had so much food and we're so full, we brought it home without trying it there. BIG MISTAKE!!! There wasbarely any meat...and I mean BARELY! $18 for 2 bones??? I'm going to have to remove a star for that. Read more

BBQ was amazing! Had the Sirloin which was tender, seasoned really well and dunked in their sauce just made it more juicy. I... even ate a lil bit of fat with each piece (which I never do) May sound odd but OMG it just added to the flavor. Mac n Cheese wascreamy & Green Beans were seasoned just right. Had a taste of the melt in your mouth brisket (need I say more) and the peachcobbler?so yummy! Not too sweet & had a nice buttery crust. Staff was friendly. Read more

Good location on the loop. Restaurant is clean with indoor and outdoor seating. Free refills on fountain drinks. Food was great.... We ordered 1/2lb of brisket burnt ends, and 4 chopped brisket lunch meals. With the meal you get a drink, Choice of a side andthe house beans at the bar. Also tried the blackberry cobbler. Everything was awesome. The chopped sandwich was big. We willdefinitely be back. Read more

We were referred to Cooper's from a friend, so we decided to go for lunch. I was not disappointed. I have to say that the... brisket was some of the best I've had. So tender, tasty, and juicy. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone and full of flavor. Mywife and I ordered 1lb of brisket and a half chicken, and to my surprise - we finished the brisket and nearly all the chicken. We didnt have to add any BBQ sauce, just as-is. The sides were also tops. They have complimentary charro beans that you canscoop yourself which was also very good. Each table has a large jar of jalapenos if you like as well. Really enjoyed our mealand atmosphere here. Read more

Amazing. Friendly service upfront, lots of options and flexibility with the cuts (pay per pound), delicious sides. Tables are... family-style picnic tables. Unlimited sauce, pickles, beans, bread. Brisket is incredible. Sauce is very vinegary, and while Ilean toward the Smokey/Sweet style, this one may have changed my mind! We also had the pork ribs and jalapeño sausage whichwere all top quality. Only regret was not getting the cobbler! Read more

My wife and I went to Cooper's BBQ for the first time. Cooper's does not have # plates like at other places, you order from the... grill what you want and how much, and pay the price by the weight (pound) of your selection. Everything looks great on thegrill, my wife ordered four pork ribs and I ordered two very large beef ribs. All the meats on the grill look smaller than theyreally are, so be careful. My beef ribs were more than two pounds and the pork ribs were almost a pound. We also addedcoleslaw, potato salad, beans and drinks. The beans and drinks are all you can eat and drink. We could not finish our mealsand brought the leftovers home for lunch the next day. Now we know to order less next time we go. The place was nice and theservice was outstanding. Read more
