Liked the outside oasis. We ate inside because of the Texas heat. Burger was great and handmade fries are definitely better than... curly. Kids nuggets are a hard pass. Mushroom appetizer was okay. Will have to come back again to see if I can rate it 5 star'snext time. Read more
I saw this place on Texas Bucket list and was driving from San Antonio to Austin, so had to stop in because Shane has never let... me down. Was a nice surprise, there was a good country band playing and the atmosphere was awesome! Whether you want to sitinside, outside, or open air covered, this place is for you. Can tell it?s a local place and hidden gem. The burger was verygood, but they are not playin around with that chicken sandwich. I also loved the onion rings! Caught a glimpse of some friedmushrooms that had my mouth watering. My server Mari was absolutely amazing also. As they say, well worth a stop on the Texasbucket list! We held an event her for my son's rehearsal dinner. Let me just say it was 104 degrees that evening and the fans and misting... system did help cool things off. Kerry, who is the contact for the event was amazing from the time we booked it until the finalday. She was patient with all of my request and said yes to EVERYTHING. They were so easy and all about customer service!Finding a place on a Friday night in New Braunfels for an event in the summer was impossible, but Freiheit delivered. They werekind and the food was great. They let us rent the dance floor, the band was excellent, we were able to decorate, they turneddown the music so we could talk to our guest at our party... everything was perfect despite the ridiculous heat. Cute spot. Feels cozy. The outdoor bar and patio is really pretty. Service kinda slow but we went on a Saturday so it was busy.... Salad was basic should?ve got the burger. Fries tasted amazing. Would?ve been 5 stars if they didn?t keep forgetting our drinksand side orders. Read more
Great atmosphere, live music, games, kids can play. Love the fact when it cools off you can sit by a fire and hang out. Food was... good, overall a great place to go and just relax for awhile. Read more
