We go there once a week. Ladies behind the counter are very pleasant/helpful.

The Slab has the best Ice Cream. All others bow down. Only Brahms can compete.

After a terrible experience with a cookie cake order at San Marcos Great Cookie Co. at the outlets i placed an order same day at... Marble Slab and they had it ready with no issues. The cookie cake turned out great. I also called back as i needed to add adozen cookies to the order and everything was ready for pick up when it was supposed to be. Inconsistent service. We live right around the corner from this place, and go in fairly regularly. We always have a really... positive experience - employees are great, love the customizations, etc. But recently had an experience that left a bad tastein our mouth... I went to order my 'regular' - a side-by-side, with 1x mix-in in one flavor, and 1x mix-in in another flavor.Nothing crazy. Was immediately shot down and told that they couldn't do that, "It takes too much time. If you want mix-ins, itcan only be done with 1x flavor." ... ... ... I understand this when there's a rush. But we were the only people in the store,no one else came into the store during the 15 minutes we were there, and there were 3x employees working. Honestly, it took moretime for me to reevaluate what I wanted, taste a bunch more flavors, than it would had they just mixed a mix-in. And frankly,if we're paying $15-20 for 2 ice creams, take the extra 60 seconds to mix the mix-in. I feel they created an issue for noreason. Anyway - really bad experience. Kind of tarnished our feeling toward one of our 'regular spots'. Read more

Brought my kiddo here and she got bubble gum flavored ice cream with sprinkles mixed in. Went outside to eat it and she didn't... like it. I knew she wouldn't because bubble gum flavor anything is not her thing. Not sure why she did it. So I told her I'd buyher another one. Went inside and they realized what was going on and let her have another small cup of her choice with a mix infor free. Great store. Great people. Read more

I went to marble slab during the pandemic and always had a young girl named Hayden help me. She was so sweet and always made my... cakes and ice cream to perfection. She ought to have deserved a raised but since the pandemic I haven?t seen her. You shoulddefinitely bring her back she was such a joy:) Read more
