After moving to the Austin area I heard so much about P. Terry's, an Austin foodie delight. So. So I was really stoked to try... them out today. I got a cheeseburger with bacon grilled onions fries well done and a vanilla shake. Pretty straightforwardstuff. I heard a lot of comparisons between the kind of colt favorite following that P. Terry's s has locally similar toIn-and-Out. Curious just how similar the burgers were. On the menu boards driving up your greeted 1st by the fact that you'veall natural ingredients and it definitely showed in the produce. Lettuce was plentiful and crisp. Tomatoes sliced relativelythin and also had nice firm texture. Beef... honestly the Patty was very thin and I couldn't necessarily taste the difference inthe freshness. Next time I will get a double. And then of course their super secret sauce which has mayonnaise in it like somany super secret sauces, so I was happy that it was lightly applied as I am not a big Mayo fan. The bacon was wonderfully crispand thick cut. Praise the Lord! Can't get that at In-n-Out! All in all a very similar Burger to in-and-out.. Fresh, simple, andgood. I wanted to love the French fries as soon as I saw them because they look like they are fresh cut. I love when the potatoskin is still visible on the French fries. It lends a texture especially when the French fries are crispy. But unfortunately myFrench fries did not arrive crispy. Part of the reason I ask for them crispy is to ensure that they come out piping hot becausethere's nothing worse than Luke warm fries. Well they were better than the lukewarm but definitely not crispy nor pipinghot. But I will give them a try again and maybe next time will change my mind about the fries. Read more

Delicious, fresh, & hot food. The veggie burger is actually tasty unlike many restaurant?s veggie options. The fries are so... tasty. The shakes are yummy! We have drove past this place several times and keep saying that we need to give them a try! Guess what, we finally did and we... were surprised with how affordable their prices were! We did the drive through, I don't think there was a dining area, and ifthere was, it must have been closed up. The wait for the food, wasn't long at all. The quality and style of the food remindedme of In & Out. The fries were a little greasy but tasted fine. And looks like they were made with fresh potatoes. Burgers werepretty good too! We absolutely love P. Terry's. Would come here every night if I could. This location unfortunately doesn't have any indoor... dining options but always has speedy service, great customer interactions, and cheap delicious burgers. Came here with very high expectations. The employees who took my order were very nice and answered all of my questions since it... was my first time. I ordered two combo meals with 2 cookies. Mine was a double cheeseburger with bacon. That is the pictureof it. My meal was ok. I don't think I will be back. The deal breaker was that both of my cookies were sold to me expired by afew days. In my opinion that's a huge no no. With that said I will continue to on my destiny to find the best burger that I didnot find here at P Terrys. Read more
