Delicious Bar-B-Q with a great environment. The restaurant is clean, presentable and modern. My wife and I have the pork ribs,... brisket, beans and potato salad. All of which was very good! The original Bar-B-Q sauces was just the right amount of spicy. Read more
Update: this location has moved and is under new management!! Major improvements. The food was hot. And the dining room very... clean. I have frequented Rudy's my whole life. I recently moved to Austin and discovered that none of the Austin Area Rudy'sserve their smoked potatoes. I made the hour-long drive to visit the location in New Braunfels for their Smoked potatoes and wasdisappointed. They had an over done, burnt rate to them and the portion (both the size of the potatoes as well as the portion ofmeat it's served with) didn't quite match other Rudy's locations that I have visited in other parts of Texas. Barbecue for the masses, a chain but generally an excellent one. This location is pretty and has a nice atmosphere. Large... barbecue menu, sides, and cold drinks. Always a fan of the moist brisket and ribs. Try out the other stuff if you?d like,probably pass on those little pies tho. Bus your own tables, theres a cold bar with bbq accruements.
