So very disappointed ??. Customer service 0. We tried to dine in, tonight, was seated right away and given a glass of water.... After that was ignored. There was more staff than customers. They were chatting having a great time, we were not evenacknowledged. We sat for 30-40 minutes , no one even approached us. When we walked out there were 3 workers at the hostess desklaughing and having a great time. We went somewhere else. Maybe a manager should oversee . Make sure that customers are enjoyingthemselves as much as the staff was. Read more
DELICIOUS! Don?t miss this gem when visiting New Braunfels. Located just off the main downtown strip of shops. We ate an early... supper here on 8/6/22. Restaurant was very clean and the a/c was cold and refreshing on a very hot and humid day. Our waitresswas very friendly and took our orders correctly. Food was delivered in less than 15 min. The biscuits and honey butter were sogood. The glazed carrots, shrimp and grits, meatloaf and chicken fried steak were all very tasty. Highly recommend! Read more

1st off. The atmosphere is amazing. The bartenders are fun, energetic, and welcoming. Signature made from scratch drinks to... compliment the scratch made food. How can you go wrong?! Meatloaf!!! honey butter chicken biscuit with a fried egg on top withTallow Fries! Delicious. Housemade lemon and dill hummus. Amazing. Breakfast at The Downtowner was just what the doctor ordered. The atmosphere was relaxed and extremely friendly. Their menu... boasted very unique items and so we decided to be adventurous and try them. We were not disappointed at all! Every bite wasflavorful. If you're ever in New Braunfels, definitely stop by for a bite. Read more
My husband and I tried this place for brunch. The wait for a table was 25 minutes. Unfortunately, the bar is located at the... front of house. The bar patrons were so loud that we had to scream at each other to hear each other speaking. It?s allconcrete, no acoustic ceiling tiles or soft material items to buffer the noise. The bar should be relocated to the back ofhouse! The service was good, the food was excellent, the noise was absolutely unbearable. The bathroom was the cleanest andmost quiet public bathroom I have ever been in. Honestly, it was nice taking a mental break from all of the noise from the bararea. 5 stars for the food and cleanliness, 4 stars for service, 0 stars for the extreme noise level.
