Very nice place. Remodeled internally while keeping the outside as untouched as Gruene's itself. The outside today had a very... nice crowd enjoying drinks and live music. Prices are little steep on the drinks. I guess it was because we're not local.Tourism is making this town lively because of it's uniqueness as a "pintoresque" untouched town. Their personal winenls were great and they had a good selection of other wines as well. This is a super relaxing place to hang... out and sip some wine or walk through the inside and browse what I'm calling alcohol lovers hobby lobby. We had a blast! Read more

Just stopped in on a late hot afternoon, sure glad we did. Three free tastings, the young gentleman was very helpful in... selecting some excellent locally grown wine. I would have been happy to bring any of them home to Nebraska. Ended up enjoying aglass out in their shady courtyard and enjoyed an evening of live music and visiting friendly folks, children playing under thelive oaks. We sat a spell...and let Gruene cast it's spell???????????? Read more
Absolutely wonderful place to stop and get a glass of wine or beer. The staff was amazing! You get 3 complimentary tasting. I... got a souvenir cups and a bottle of blackberry wine. The blackberry wine and the sangria Peach mix where my favorite. They haveoutdoor seating with misters and live music. Very popular place is definitely worth stopping in! Read more
