After waiting 2 hours for 1 pizza we just canceled it. I called after an hour and was told they just left to deliver it, then... called again 30 minutes after and was told it just left.... If it's busy it's fine, but you need to tell people when a pizzamight take 2 hours or more. Lesson learned. Read more

I tried their Penne Vodka Slice as it was something new. I really liked it but I would go with just the Vodka next time. Crust... was really Krispy and just like how a new york style slice should be. I surely recommend this. Update: Their Vodka saucecontains meat. So it?s not vegetarian afterall. Read more

Thought I?d try this (I work not too far from the Rutgers location) as the Brooklyn location was a staple for me growing up.... Doesn?t come close to the Brooklyn Krispy quality. Read more

I didn't know pizza could be so tasty and krispy until today. Palermo and chicken vodka slices were tasty.

To me it appears to be one of the best pizzas near rutgers university. The pizza was tasty and the location of the shop makes it... even better. You get to enjoy ?the Yard? while having your pizza. So, a five star rating from me considering everything. Read more

Maybe I expected more because of the name "Krispy" Pizza, but as you can see, this pizza is not so crispy, except on the crust.... The flavor was OK. I've definitely had better from local mom and pop shops, as far as flavor and crunch. But, this location isfixed on a college campus, so I'm sure they will always have their fair share of business, despite their average qualitypizza. Don't go out of your way to try this place. If you're on campus, REALLY want pizza, this is the last joint open andyou're willing to part with a few dollars/slice, then- go for it. Read more

Krispy Pizza is a definite go to for some good, reasonably priced, tasty pizza. The staff are friendly and efficient. There is a... good selection of pizza, pasta and subs. We tried several different slices on our visit. The regular cheese slice is thequintessential NY style "street slice". It's one of our favorite plain cheese slices. The Sicilian slice had the perfect crispycrust while at the same time was thick but airy and not too dense. Both the Grandma slice and Margherita pizza had thatslightly zesty taste from the basil but at the same time had that mild sweetness from the sauce and olive oil. Definite must tryif you've never had one of these slices. The last of our favorite slices is the Palermo Special. It's like a traditional squareSicilian slice but with a "sweet" onion sauce and grated cheese. It's a very hearty slice. There are many other offerings thereand you might choose others as your favorite slice. Definitely will go back when we're in the College Ave area! Read more

When I heard that a Krispy Pizza was coming to Rutgers, New Brunswick I was ecstatic. I knew immediately that it would steal the... top of the best pizza in New Brunswick list having been to the Jersey City location and really enjoyed the pizza there. I canhonestly say that the New Brunswick location is the same excellent quality as the Jersey City location. The atmosphere is verymuch the same with a large mural on the wall and a very Italian cashier. There is more indoors seating in the New BrunswickKrispy Pizza than the Jersey City location, but there is also some outdoor seating available which will definitely get usedduring the spring and summer months. Parking isn't easy for this location. There are meter spots on Hamilton Street but amajority of the people coming here for lunch will be College Students living in the Yard or on campus for classes. The locationis extremely convenient as it is located right across from Scott Hall and next to a major College Ave bus stop. The margheritaslice was absolutely delicious. The sauce is perfect and flavorful and the cheese is fresh and chewy. The crust and bottom ofthe pizza were extremely crispy (or should I say krispy?). The palermo slice was very filling and combined the delicious KrispyPizza sauce with perfectly sauteed onions. It was a real treat of the highest quality. Luckily for me, my girlfriend doesn'tmind sharing and I managed to grab a bite of her slices. The vodka sauce slice was pleasant with a creamy sauce and good flavor. The plain slice was surprisingly buttery and salty. Not what I expected....but in a good way! The crust and bottom weren't ascrispy as the other slices, but this could just be a fluke. Overall, I'm very confident this location will place in the Top 3for my Rutgers Power Ranking...if not Number 1! Read more
