Boom boom shrimp is good, comes on top of cold tasteless noodles which is kinda weird. But if you mix it together, it’s good.... Still think they should come with warm noodles or something. Great service, server was attentive and friendly. Tavern vibes and atmosphere. Food was good but the thin crust pizza is... advertised with no flop, but we had flop and it was under cooked and loaded with way too much cheese. Fried mozzarella wedgesare great along with the potato skins. My co-worker and I enjoyed a nice outdoor dining experience for lunch. The dining experience was beautiful! In terms of our... food, I ordered the Vegan California Burger w/o lettuce and tomato but I didn't need those two ingredients, the burger, the bunand Vegan cheese INSIDE of the burger was absolutely delicious! The fries were hot and crisp the way I like them. I'm actuallynot a vegan but wanted to try something healthy and unique, I was not disappointed. Best place in New Brunswick to get a decent meal with heaving portions of deliciousness. My waiter Casey or Katie or Calie (9pm... Wednesday?) was fantastic. Wonderful experience. New Brunswick is a trendy college town with loads of ships restaurants in the heart of Rutgers University... . Lots of parking garages. Old Man Rafferty is an Irish Pub that offers the usual comfort food. But they also make great steaks, seafood and yes Greek salads and even gyros my fav. My party and I had a magnificent time. The girls and I decided to get together for a quick brunch. There was a large party and they were able to accommodate. When I... arrived I had trouble finding parking but after awhile I found something. I walked in and a nice young man helped me find myparty. Our server was so nice and kind and she was able to split 15 different bills. So kudos to the service. For my meal I gotthe vegetable stir fry and when it came out it looked great. The taste was just ok. I wasn't the biggest fan and probably won'tget this particular dish again. Another little issues is they brought out all the dishes for everyone and one lady had to wait awhile for hers. Also another lady ordered a baked potato and they bought out the potato, not cut and barely seasoned and shedidn't enjoy it. My bill came to about $15. All in all we had an ok time. Read more
I have to edit this review due to tonight's experience. I had early dinner here with my son and everything was great. Last few... visits with my wife, she really liked their meatloaf so after the our meal I ordered one to go since she was home. When I arrived home and gave my wife her food she said the food did looked right. The meatloaf looks like something that has beenreheated leftover without any gravy and tasted very bland. Photo on the left is what we got and one on the right is what weusually get and enjoy. I don't know what happened in the kitchen but it was as if we ticked someone off. I have eaten here fewtimes now and we really liked their food and service so this was totally unexpected. I just assumed that everything would befine due to my past experiences here so I didn't check the food before we left.
