Do not use RU Grill, and Ali the owner, to do any catering orders. I placed a $250 deposit, spoke with the owner on multiple... occasions, confirmed the order 2 days before the event, and the night of the event when I asked where he was after they were 30minutes late... no reason why they didn't show up, just a half-hearted apology with no offer to rectify the situation. Insultto injury? Instead of refunding my deposit, he charged my credit card again. Decent food, horrible business practices that youcannot rely on for catering. Read more

Quick food that taste great, and great service. RU Grill has been a Rutgers staple for decades.

Delicious pizza and sandwich. Meats served are halal. (Unsure about sourcing of bacon). I will definitely revisit when I am in... the area. Read more

The owner of this business alone makes me want to give this place 10 stars! Such a sweetheart, super down to earth. And the... pizza is pretty good. My favorite is the margarita slice. It also feels very homey because there's various pictures of RUstudents all up on the wall. That's what makes RU grill more superior then the other dozen of pizza places in New Brunswick. Read more

Solid food, their fat sandwiches are great. Expensive though, will run you about $10 each. They take some time to come out, but... they're made fresh which is nice. Worst part is finding a parking spot to actually get to the building. It's taken me 30+minutes before and at that point it's not even worth the effort. Read more

Another review for a Rutgers Pizzeria. This location is on Easton Avenue near Old Queens and the Scarlet Night Club. It's a... tight little pizzeria with not much room for sitting in and eating. The slices remind me of frozen pizza I've eaten. The crustdoesn't even seem like it should belong to a pizza. It's bready and like cardboard. The plain slice was totally unremarkable andlacked both flavor and sauce in general, practically. The chicken caesar slice only reminded me why I have never tried thatcombination before... IT DOESN'T WORK. The dressing tasted funny and I doubt I would have even enjoyed it on a salad. I couldn'teven finish the slice. Clearly my fault for thinking this was a good idea. Overally, I'm honestly surprised this place is stillin business considering the competition in New Brunswick. In conclusion, you can buy better pizza in the frozen isle atshopright. Read more
