Delicious food. Pocket friendly. Friendly staff. Reserve your slot on yelp before going as they have huge waiting lines. We... had: Ebi katsu shrimp bao (I have had better fluffy bao buns but these tasted good - sweet buns and citrus notes fromyuzu) Burnt garlic tonkotau ramen Miso crab ramen Must try black sesame cream brulé, it's was very light and best way to endyour meal. This is the best Ramen place I've ever been to in the US. The broth has such a depth of flavor and the service was incredible,... friendly and fast. It's over an hour from me and I'd drive it again for the great food. Sophisticated but relaxed atmosphere butthis place is not all looks! New Brunswick is saturated with many popular trendy restaurants but this place is the best of thebest. Read more

My number 1 ramen restaurant in central Jersey. You must try their Miso Crab ramen (real crab meat!!) and Burnt Garlic ramen.... The broth is so rich. If you don?t like the broth that heavy, you can try their Nagomi Shoyu ramen. The chicken broth is theirsignature broth. And the egg in the ramen is the best among all the ramen restaurants I visited. For appetizers, karaage, takoyaki, tofu nuggets all taste good. Recommend Ebi Katsu Shrimp Bao. So crispy!!! And the yuzu flavor make the bao anotherlevel! And don?t forget to have the black sesame cream brûlée as the desert! Read more

Excellent ramen place - this is a must try! Great food all around and really nice service. We had the burnt garlic tonkotsu... ramen and vegetarian spicy miso ramen and loved them both. Perfectly cooked noodles in delicious broth. The only let down wasthe tofu in the vegetarian ramen which was kind of bland, but I don't fault them much for that. The vegetarian gyoza were prettygood. I really loved the black sesame ice cream! Very unique combination that isn't too sweet and not quite savory. You have totry it and maybe you'll end up like me buying several pints to take home with you. The tea is also good. They don't acceptreservations but you can get on the wait list via Yelp. Read more

Good ramen place in the heart of New Brunswick. Very friendly and attentive staff. Can get crowded! So get there early or place... yourself on the waitlist before getting there. Had burnt garlic tonkasu ramen. Broth was rich but missing layering of flavors.Noodle was cooked well. Pork was the clear winner! Best ramen pork! Overall a B to B+ ramen place (which translates to 4/5??). Did not try other menu items. Ample selection for a relatively small ramen place. Would recommend this place! Might notbe a good place for family with young kids, unless the kids are adventurous. Read more

The proof of any ramen-ya is always the quality of the soup broth and it?s ingredients. Noodles, although important, are... secondary. Ramen Nagomi New Brunswick exceeds the mark on broth. As a seasoned traveler to Japan, I will admit that myexpectations for ramen are quite high. Most ramen in the area including NYC never get to impressive in the broth department. Nagomi is a true exception. I ordered the miso crab ramen bowl and it was exceptional. The soup is rich with a pronounced misoflavor and the crab base is evident. The bowl is not overcrowded with fillers like bean sprouts, so the concentration is on thecrab flavor and the thin straight ramen noodles. Included toppings are lump crab, kikurage mushroom, scallion, nori seaweedand ajitama, marinated lava egg. Green tea is extra, but I recommend it. They call it light green tea but it is really genmaicha, a green tea brewed with toasted rice? delicious. Although not traditional for a ramen shop, a multitude of other foods areon the menu. Agemono, (fried foods) and donbori rice bowls with toppings. Izakaya favorites like Karaage (fried chicken),Takoyaki (octopus fritters) and edamame (boiled salted soybeans) are available. One slight quibble was that my soup arrived withan ice cold egg right from the refrigerator in the bowl. The kitchen needs to warm the eggs a bit, otherwise it is like addingice to hot soup. I look forward to returning multiple times for further tastings of this interesting and delicious menu. Read more

First time at Ramen Nagomi, always wanted to eat here but never had the time to. The restaurant has a very chill atmosphere.... Servers are outstanding, they always ask if you have any food restriction and share their favorite dishes and are all wearingmask. The food here is outstanding, def recommend getting the tonkatsu ramen, the sliced pork belly and the broth are to diefor! Read more
