Food was great, drinks were amazing. However our server was ..... I will never understand when wait staff is rude. She ruined... our experience. She was not friendly off bat, barely spoke. We were there maybe an 1.5 hours which I don’t think is too longfor dinner, especially when our bill is hundreds of dollars. Throughout dinner she just seemed annoyed and not friendly, butmade it apparent at the end. When we closed out we asked for separate checks, which I’m sorry but either say we don’t doseparate checks or do it. She came back and started clearing things away, she grabbed my check looked at the tip which was over20% and rolled her eyes and proceeded to walk around the table grabbing everyone’s receipts and literally STOPPING to look atwhat the tips were while rolling her eyes and getting angry.... If I didn’t want to give this woman another moment of my lifeI would have asked to talk to someone about her horrific attitude. I know people have bad days, but as a server you are the faceof the restaurant. Your main job is to be nice to guests. We visited this restaurant based on the reviews. Felt compelled to share our experience. The ambience and decor felt like a... yacht club. It was a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating that overlooks the marina. Wait staff and hostess were friendly andaccommodating. Professional and well managed. The prices are certainly not “$$.” The $32 lobster roll was the size of aslider. The pub chips seemed like they were made in bulk at the beginning of the day and left sitting out. They were stale andcool. The dip was ice cold. The $12 portion was the size of a small bag of Lays chips you would find at a gas station. Weordered a burger cooked medium. It was very pink. Toppings, such as cheese, were an extra $1 per topping. The Old Fashioned wasmostly ice cubes. There was seemingly no bitters and no cherry. There was a quarter of an orange instead of a peel. The simplesyrup / sugar was not muddled and at the bottom of the glass. The last sip was almost all sugar. It seemed like a server madethe drink by reading the bar recipe instead of a true bartender mixing the drink. The fries were great tasting and wellportioned. I happened to stop by here at random and found it is located in a resort. Ordered the hamburger and tavern chicken. They were... pretty good, the chicken has a strong citrus but was good. The burger was awesome with the bacon and cheddar on it. I would comehere again, just be prepared as the prices are on the steeper side, likely because of the quality and service provided here, soit made it worth it. Read more
