The waitress was very good! But she had to apologize because the establishment was out of ketchup, and then had to apologize to... another table for being out of hotsauce as well. The pizza was not its typical Roma best, as if it were missing something aswell. Romas is typically very good, so it may have been just bad timing, but if it were my business, I'd run to the store toensure my patrons had what they needed. Read more
I grew up with this place. Not sure what happened. Ordered a pie for pickup, 45 min.. came at 45min. Not even started. 15min... wait.... came back. Another 10 min finnally, i got a raw pie that was left under the light??? While i waited that 10 min infrontof the register.. odd. Freezer pizza would have been 10× beter. A cheap one at that. Never again. Plenty of good pizzas around.Wanted to support the first from my childhood. But they stopped trying... not cool. Read more
This place is usually great, my last 2 orders were not cooked. Doughy on a thin crust pizza. Still the best pizza in New Buffalo
Food was okay. Pizza didn't have much flavor. The kids spaghetti was a huge portion and tasted pretty good. Service could and... should have been much better. There were lots of ppl "working" but we had to refill our own drinks, get our own to-go boxes, andclean up a spill. I wouldn't recommend. The owner needs to spend some time in this establishment and clean it up. Read more
The pizza was very good with soft crust. But the pasta.... Ah...the pasta was AMAZING! Their sauce is homemade. Our server said... 85% of the food is homemade. My mom is part Italian and she absolutely loved the cheese ravioli. She said the inside was lightand creamy. Do yourself a favor and try at least one pasta dish when you go. 5 stars for this over 50 year old family business:) Read more
Honestly, I have no clue how this place has a 4+ star rating...my best guess is maybe we got unlucky with who was... working. Ordered a pizza, mostaccioli, cheesy garlic bread and meatballs for takeout. The cheesy bread and meatballs wereedible, but by no means anything special. The pizza and mostaccioli on the other hand were insulting. Honestly felt robbed aftertrying the food. The pizza was so dry, virtually no sauce on it at all and tasted like pizza flavored cardboard. Legitimatelyworse than any frozen/gas station pizza I've ever ate. The mostaccioli was just noodles with some nasty cheap sauce (I'd takeprego over it any day) and NO CHEESE ON IT AT ALL. Service was amazing. I phoned in my order, the person that answered was very friendly and helpful. After asking a few short... questions, we were on our way for pickup. When we arrived they came out and checked on us to see how we were doing. The orderonly took 25 minutes, and then we were on our way. As you can see the results were amazing. There is something about theflavor that makes you want more. Highly recommended for a nice local favorite pizza place. Read more
