The best steamed dumplings EVER! Great flavor! They were so good we ate the first order in the car and went back in to order... more. Also there shrimp fried rice is hands down the best we?ve ever had. Full of flavor, and amazing portions. My husband andI are very selective but this has become one of our favorite go to spot for amazing food. Lastly the staff here is just topnotch, and so pleasant. 2.7 not good for dine in. Service wasn?t good, we didn?t receive cutlery OR plates until we asked AND the plates came dirty so... we had to get them changed. Ambience wasn?t great either. Food was relatively good. We ordered the chicken drunken noodles(level 5) which were pretty good. We also ordered tofu yellow curry which was okay. This must be a joke. Absolutely no flavor to this Pad Thai. I added shrimp and they gave me 4 for $3. Also asked for no peanuts... and they still added it. Everything we ordered was flavorless. We ordered here before last summer and it was great but I guessit has gone down hill never again. Don?t waste your money. Read more
Update: We can not get enough of this place. Second visit and the food is still out of this world. They are also Vegetarian... friendly. The waitress Lynn was kind, friendly and patient. Tried the new Thia restaurant (under new management) Loved the food, new decor so not so dated. Nice bar. Service was... hospitable. This is my favorite spot in New Castle County. This place is a hidden gem in a small shopping center. It looks humble, but the... food is far from it. I have frequented this spot week, after week, after week. I have had noodles, rice, chicken, curry and afew things in between. My favorite is the pineapple rice with fried rice and chicken. I love the crispy egg rolls, and the Mangochicken stir fry is incredible (see pictures). I tried eating this dish Thursday, I wasn't;t even hungry but nothing was leftwhen I finished. OK, so I mentioned the food, what about the people??? There is a lovely hostess who greets you with a smile assoon as you open the door. She will have menus ready, and if you need it, she will help recommend something new. The gentlemanbehind the bar is friendly and is ready to pour you a glass of anything. On this particular day he gave me a glass of adelicious IPA from Hanalei. He is always ready for small talk about the latest football game. Then there is the owner. I've methim a few times, he is friendly and kind every time. And of course, what about the people behind the kitchen! The true heroes ofthis establishment. YOU ALL ARE AMAZING! We were staying the night in Bear DE and were looking for a good place to eat. Google reviews of Saap were complimentary so we... went there. The reviews were well earned. It was the best Thai food we have had. All meals cooked to order, fresh and highquality ingredients authenticly prepared. Drunken Noodles with chicken was excellent as was pineapple fried rice. Staff wasfriendly and professional. Being in a roadside strip mall Saap is not pretentious but don't let that fool you: the food isoutstanding. Has a full service bar. Read more
