So far hands down this is the best Lee's chicken around central Indiana. Not only the food but the price is great (way cheaper... than other locations) Been here several times in the last few months. I don't know where to start. I guess I should start by saying 40 dollars for this meal is beyond NOT WORTH it. The potato wedges... were absolutely gross, wet, greasy and so soggy couldn't even pick them up. Mashed potatoes and gravy was super thick and notsure exactly what kind od gravy this was. It definitely was not chicken and was a little on the spicy side. The biscuits was oldand crunchy couldn't eat but the center. The chicken strip was the only thing that was editable. The dinning room was clean butslippery spots here and there in the floor. I AM not sure what they are famous for if it's the food I've missed something. Idefinitely will Not go back. Prepandemic I probably would have given 4 stars. Not for any big reason, just personal preference. However, the way things have... gone the last couple years a lot of the fast food places around here have gone downhill. Lee?s did not change, other than theobvious? dining room shut for a while and things like that. Their service did not change, they did not start getting our orderwrong every single time (like arbys does since the pandemic), and they have not starting treating customers like dirt as someplaces have. Lee?s has been consistent, and I like that. They also always get our order right, so if they were to mess up oncewe wouldn?t care. I know mistakes happen but some places mistakes are the norm now. One of the only fast food chicken restaurants left that still serve chicken livers. I always get them when I eat at Lee's Famous... Recipe in New Castle. They are always tasty and their biscuits are very good too! The service is always friendly and fast aswell. Read more
