The staff are all amazing and kind. Their baked goods are delicious. My personal favorites are their breakfast pizza that has... cheese eggs bacon and I think sausage but not positive on that. Also the pepperoni rolls. Donuts and cookies are always soft.And the building is kept clean and it's inviting when u see all them desserts on display. Great job ladies and gents that workin there. After a very positive experience with the woman on the phone who took my order, I was extremely disappointed when my husband... picked up our cake. I wanted a super simple cake for a small wedding (15 people). I asked for an almond cream icing with vanillacake. I was asked to send in some decorations or the theme of our wedding and told that they had a very creative cake decoratorthat would work with the motif we had to create a nice design on the cake. I send over an image of our invitation, thinking theycould take the tree or birds and do a simple design around that. I also asked for "Mr. and Mrs. Forrest" to be written on it. Ireceived a text the day before asking if I was okay with the design and writing to be on the side and I agreed, thinking therewould be some type of design and a clear writing on the side. What I got is shown was a sloppily written "Mr. and Mrs." and Iguess the "design" was the green around the edges? Then, to make matters even more tacky, they literally printed the top of myinvitation and laminated it and stuck it on the top. I honestly couldn't believe it when my husband sent me these pictures. Ifigured the design on the top had to at least by edible as printable icing. I couldn't believe it when he told me no, it waslaminated paper that we would have to remove before eating. It was tacky and awful. The only reason I'm giving a 3-star reviewrather than a 1 or 2 is because the cake did taste very good and the icing was exactly as I had asked for. But for $70, Iexpected a bit more effort to be put into the design and look of the cake, but what I got was something I didn't even wantpictures taken of before we cut into it. This is just a review for these cookies..not overall review.. Just purchased the small filled cookies that look like little... turnovers (not sure what they are called) at Dave's Hometown Shop n Save in Ellwood. They looked delicious in package!
