I moved out of the area 2 years ago when John's was located in a smaller location. This new place is fantastic. Plenty of room,... chairs with outlets and charging ports, and tv's. Food is excellent. Really a nice spot in the area and worth a visit. Read more
I have enjoyed their food in the past but not sure if I can continue. A customer asked for a bagel and requested the bagel be... scooped out. The worker proceeded to scoop the bagel with his BARE FINGERS while he wore a glove on the opposite hand. I alsonoticed another worker who did wear gloves but used the same gloves to prepare food and grab cash. You would think they wouldchange them before going on to the next order. I was really in the mood for pasta salad and stopped here as i was in the neighborhood..luckliy i got tuna salad as well..which... was a bit salty for my taste but not so bad. The pasta salad has no flavor..was freezing and kind of hard..a real dissapoint forsuch a pricey meal.I had to toss it. I guess lunch is not their forte. Read more
A nice spot to grab a quick breakfast and coffee in the morning before work. Bagels are pretty good. The coffee selection is... good. Sometimes will find shell pieces in my egg sandwiches. I have ordered lunch sandwiches, hot and cold, and they are decent.Personally, the fried chicken cutlets tend to be very salty. Indoor seating to enjoy your food. Overall, if you need a spot fora quick bite, this will do the trick. Read more
First thing I love the bagels but this post has nothing to do with the food. It?s the food safety. They do not change gloves at... the New City location. I have been there about 6 times and watched this play out each time. At first I assumed it was becausethe cook has to also work the cash register which makes no sense. If there are 5 staff members maybe just have one managing theregister. Anyway today in particular I had the worst experience, I watch the younger boy with glasses count cash with hisgloves, then make a sandwich. It?s a mess in there. Read more
I've had generally good experiences with John's, hence the 4 stars. Today was the first real disappointment. Lox and cream... cheese with tomato, onion, etc. is generally one of your pricier breakfast sandwich options, and you folks usually make a goodone. Today, not so much. The sandwich I received today has barely a smear of cream cheese. For the money, I expect you to dobetter. Read more
