I have been enjoying this couples restaurant since I was a child at their original location. They are extremely kind and... generous, don't be surprised if they treat you to a free appetizer they cook up off the menu. I have a special connection tothem because of the energy and intention that fills the place, and every bite has quality like no other sushi, or Japaneserestaurant, in a 50 mile radius, it surpasses many experiences I've had at reputable NYC restaurants. I've only ordered take out from them 2 times and both times the sushi is great! Quickly and nicely done and tastes so good. One... time we even got a free snack as well as a bonus. Sadly I am no longer in Rockland and yet to find a better sushi in NorthernColorado. Just ordered some rolls for my parents over the phone and everyone is satisfied. I have been going to this restaurant since it was called Miso Nara (over 12 years now). It is by far my favorite sushi place I... have ever eaten at. And I have lived in NYC and eaten at some of the best restaurants. Hands down always came back here. Thehospitality just can not be beat. The owners are the loveliest people. I have never eaten anything that wasn?t good. Quality isalways right on and always fresh. The basic rolls are your basic rolls but the specialty rolls and the Macs roll is by far mineand my husbands favorite. You can not go wrong with any item on the menu. I love this place so much I always ask to go for mybirthday and I even had my rehearsal dinner there. I hope they never leave or go out of business ????. Read more

Wonderful family owned sushi restaurant in New City. The food, service, and attention to detail is superb. I absolute love the... lobster salad and king crab rolls. Best sushi place in Rockland county! The quality of fish here is nothing short of outstanding. Sashimi tastes fresh and... delicious. Rolls are also tasty. I would recommend getting the sashimi roll combos for the table for good variety, taste, andvalue. Space is limited compared to competitors, but taste is hands down the best.
