A welcome addition to New Fairfield. It?s great to see shops like this open. Good breakfast and lunch sandwich shop. The... pastrami is almost like New York City. For breakfast have an egg sandwich. Choose roll or a number of bagels. You can alsochoose from a bunch of different cheeses. They also have nitro brew coffee. If you want to sit, they have some tables inside toeach what you buy. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak wedge which is good but very skimpy on the the meat it?s a lot of bread. When I got there... there is a very young girl behind the counter she didn?t seem to be very focused I actually think she was stoned. I?d given hermy order stepped back and then two minutes later she asked me if I placed an order. I got something to drink which was a waterand it was warm the young girl was putting water into the refrigerator but I don?t think she was moving the cold to the front.poorly run establishment it may need some adult supervision. Tried their breakfast sandwiches and they are pretty good. Rolls are fairly fresh, on the fence about the yellow cheese. The two... egg thing is nice (just like the NF Deli) and the bacon and sausage are about par. Now for the bad news; the Italian Combo on awedge I had was just bad. Bread was not fresh, meats were cut WAY TO THICK. NF Deli is Much Better. Maybe it's because they'renew??? Unless something changes, I won't be going back. When can we expect a Jersey Mike's? Maybe it's simply this location and the other locations are better. Whatever it is, I can say my experience here yesterday was... wholeheartedly dissappointing - and the other three people in my family that tried it agree. I got the Dr Raj and the frenchtoast was straight out of the freezer aisle of the supermarket. The bacon was flabby without having the excuse of being thickcut, and the cheese was American. At the end of the day it didn't taste too bad but for nearly $6, not worth it. One familymember got the Windman, and found it similarly "just O.K."; another had the Italian combo and remarked that it was"dissappointing"; another had the Meat Lovers omelette, which was "nothing to write home about". Considering Bagel Man is justas close to us, but with better quality sandwiches and cheaper, Froggy's simply isn't worth the return visit.
