A big group of us visited this place on our way home from our 4th of July road trip and we all agreed it\'s a new... tradition.\n\nIt\'s a fantastic atmosphere- super cool, dog-friendly, and there was a klezmer (?) band playing.\n\nThe beer wallwas SUPER cool! What an awesome setup if you\'re a beer or cider nerd! Grab a card and you can sample away while paying forsmall pours, or find one you like and go for that. What a wonderful selection of beers/ciders, too!\n\nThe food was decent- thepersonal pizzas were WAY bigger than expected. Good thing they were delish; and the owners/staff were incredibly friendly!\n\nIwish this place was closer to home as we\'d be there a lot- but we\'ll certainly be back whenever we\'re in the area! I went here for the first time with my family (my kids 7 and 5, my parents and aunt and uncle). We had a blast. It was really... fun. We could try all kinds of beer (cider too) and the kids had rootbeer. You pay by the ounce. It\'s an easy system. Mydaughter has celiacs and the staff was really lovely to bring out the popcorn and oil to make sure it was gluten free (it was).The games they have to play are fun for all ages. I hope they open up their hours. I\'d love to go more often. Being veryconscience of COVID, we did wear masks when we went in to get beer and popcorn, but it\'s very open and it\'s so nice to be ableto sit outside safely and be social! Dirty Dog Taphouse provides a comfortable atmosphere, self-serve microbrews, and snacks. Furry companions are always welcome.... Love the hometown feel both indoors and in the beer garden. Staff are very accommodating and make this a Must Stop in NewGlarus. Read more
