What an amazing and delightful find this place was! We stopped in on a whim on our way to Cape Breton, and I can?t imagine a... more perfect meal and evening. The food was some of the best we?ve had in Nova Scotia, which is saying a lot, and everything waspiping hot. The service was quick AND perfectly timed, which is not the same thing, and the staff were all delightfullyfriendly, personable, and so helpful. Everything here combines to create a lovely and intimate atmosphere that makes it feel sospecial. The potted duck to start was to die for, and we made sure not a bit of it went to waste. The salmon was perfectlycooked and the sauce and accompaniments all complemented each other perfectly. While we didn?t save much room for dessert, thecocktails we had throughout the evening were fantastic. Highly recommend both the Lemon Drop and a Gin and Tonic withSteinhart?s Rhubarb gin.
