Stopped here for lunch knowing nothing about the place. We had the BEST sandwiches we?ve had in a long time. The mahi Reuben... was out of this world, with a thick, tender, moist piece of fish. The flounder blt had a thick filet cooked just right and ayummy, slightly spicy sauce. Both came with fries and cole slaw. The service was excellent. What a find! We will be backoften! Read more
Amazing service, fresh food, and great portions. Every entrée comes with 2 sides and a biscuit! Pictures don?t do the food... justice. Sea bass was the best I?ve ever had and the side of vegetables was so flavorful and fresh. Read more
Fantastic little local place! That wait was long but 100% worth it!
First time and very much my last time. As I'm writing my review I'm borderline about to walk out. It's been an hour and a half... of waiting for a party of 3 drinks, two appetizers and 3 meals. Bad enough we had to wait out of that time 15 minutes at thefront door. Other customers seemed irritated as well. Never again. They shouldn't have the prices so high the food should beFREE. Fun, tasty lunch at Allen's. Our first time there and we loved the bacon wrapped scallops. The lobster bisque was super creamy... but a little lacking in flavor. My hubby loves the chicken sandwich. Fresh local seafood and great hospitality! Just a short stroll off the Parkway makes it the perfect stop for a bite to eat on... either side of your trip down to AC! We stopped in for dinner tonight (family of5). The hostess, Karen, & our waitress, Erica, were SO friendly, attentive, &... caring! It was our first time there & we loved it! The food was unbelievable!!! Seriously, the best lobster roll I?ve everhad! I had an urgent call that I had to take just after our entrees came out. I stepped outside to take the call & when I cameback in I found out that the waitress & hostess felt so badly that my food was getting cold, that they covered it in foil forme. I was there yesterday around 4 pm. Everything was ok until you let a customer in with a dog. This was not a service dog. You... even let the dog sit on it's owner's lap at the table. This is against all health and safety rules for eatingestablishments. The customer knew they were in the wrong because she ran in and sat down with dog under arms. Literally ran in,no exaggeration. Party of 9. 6 adults and 3 kids. It was not just me, other customers were complaining about it also amongstthemselves. It's bad when a 12 year old noticed it was wrong and was the first to make a comment to us. I've been coming herefor over 45 years. Never once ever had a complaint. I would have said something then but I didn't want the waitress to lose outon a big party. We were almost done eating anyway. The dog was an older white poodle if your memory needs to be refreshed.
