Ok, look, the food is great, but it's the only reason why I keep coming back. The workers, unfortunately, are pretty difficult... to interact with. They're quite unfriendly despite me being a regular, and I've gotten the overall sense that everyone who worksthere hates their job and they don't try at all not to show it. I tried to suggest a pita chip flavour they could try, and theyjust looked at me like I had three heads. I get an overall hostile, unwelcoming vibe from your workers, and I think that needsto change. This place is always great! Everyone working is extremely friendly and polite, the food is always very fresh and they?re very... generous with portions! It?s also very clean. Management has done a great job here. So glad to have them in town! Read more
I have been to the New Hamburg location a few times now and the service is inconsistent. It really depends on who?s working.... Portions are great, and the servers are very friendly, but there seems to be a lack of training when it comes to cooking themeat. After placing the meat on the grill directly from the pre-portioned container, she walked away from it (not taking time tocut the meat up and toss it around a bit) but not before placing the press on the heap of meat. After completing the toppings,she returned to the meat and was going to just pick it up and put it in my pita. I had to ask her to remove the press and cookthe meat fully through, including the bacon. The server then stared at me as she waited for the meat to cook as if she wasn?tsure when it was going to be done. I feel like this is something that should be covered during training, and they shouldn?t haveto depend on the customer to confirm if the meat is done or not. The meat was okay, but because she left the press on the meatwithout tossing it around first, parts of the chicken were burnt and others cold. Not a pleasant thing to eat. We've been going to this location for several years. Have to admit when the new owners took over the portion sizes initially... went down but things have since turned around. The staff now stuff our salad bowls and pitas with a nice healthy portion ofveggies and toppings. Friendly staff, fresh toppings, generous portions, five stars. ???????? Read more
Not impressed. A few weeks ago, we had company over and ordered pita pit via delivery. 3 of our guests did not receive their... items. They drove to the restaurant and got their pitas replaced - unfortunately they didn't get to eat with everyoneelse. Tonight, we ordered again - we shouldn't have. Our order arrived: 3 pitas, 1 salad. The pitas were unmarked. Took a whileto sort out. We could tell immediately that the salad was not correct - it was supposed to be a chicken bruschetta rice bowl.They had called to advise they were out of rice, so i knew to expect the exchange ... But my salad was devoid of chicken, andinstead covered in my huge slices of gyro, with nothing but spinach, some tomatoes, and a sprinkle of feta. The gyro pita hadhalf the toppings requested, and the chicken from the salad. The rest of the order was dubious. A pita so spicy no one could eatit. A buffalo chicken literally dripping with hot sauce. Okay, mistakes happen. So we called to get things sorted out. Afterbeing put on hold for long enough that i believe they were waiting for me to hang up, I was told that the manager told the staffto do nothing "because we close in half an hour" No refund. No replacement for the 2 items that were so wrong - just a shrug. Sowe processed a refund through the delivery service & we will never order from pita pit again. Lesson learned. Read more
